  • Dell, HP, etc all overprice their products. If you don't want to get a Laptop, there is no reason to go with those. I recommend you build one yourself or ask a friend who knows how to do it.

  • Yes, should work fine.

  • SIGH. LCPDFR and third party mods such as trainer's do not usually require decent hardware.. In short: Buy a PC that can run GTA IV decently and you'll be able to run LCPDFR.

The PC I have (an HP h8-1020) cost around $800 USD. Now, the graphics card is not that good (ATI Radeon HD 6570), but I can still play GTA IV decently. Granted its never gonna be able to have an amazing quality for GTA graphics (medium textures, and I think something else medium, rest low), but it works just fine.

Moral of the story is you don't have to spend an amazing amount of cash, certainly not over $1000 to play GTA IV, even with its faults.

Oh really? So can you tell me how I can play LCPDFR on a mac? Which computer exactly? Would I have to put windows 7 on it? Thanks, and would it run smoothly with no lag?

Can someone suggest a good computer, PC desktop, that would run GTA LCPDFR well, fast, without having to buy anything extra, like a graphic card, that costs no more then $550? Thanks!

You need a graphics card. Can't underscore that enough. You can build yourself (not buy from a retail company like Dell or HP) a computer that would do a decent job for about $550-600. You can get one that will be somewhat future-proof for about $800.

You've really gotta put a hell of a lot of money into these things. I figured I got a little ripped off with my computer as it costed $2000 (Australian Dollars) but it can run GTA IV very nicely. Everything on high and still get 60 FPS.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Okay, can someone please give me links to either a computer that will run the game with out having to buy anything else, or links to graphic cards, and other things to make a custom computer. Thanks
