This unit cost 1mill. The unit was made by Rosenbauer, then shipped to Germany to have the Metz ladder installed. How much did that cost...?   

This is not the only Metz laddertruck in North America.

Well I read somewhere that the firetruck was built in America by Rosenbauer, but the ladder being German, it had to be installed in German or something along those lines.

It's real obvious that a European ladder, rare to North America, be built in Europe. The ladder is a common EU design.

It's the same with North American police/fire/ems vehicles being brought by foreign countries. Where ever the factories are, that's where there made. the only way it could be made by a different company is by licensing. This happens a lot with firearms.

Actually it's based on a man chassis, There is another one here in sweden somewhere and it's a scania. Though it's white instead of yellow.
