HAVE A QUESTION OR A REQUEST? MESSAGE ME I'M HAPPY TO HELP

When this happened, I was in preschool. My dad came home early from work and we were playing baseball in the backyard. I remember looking up in the sky and seeing smoke from the buildings. The rail service that runs through my town goes to NYC which is where most people in my town work. I remember going out with my dad around later that day around 11:00pm. There were cars here and there all over the parking lot. It was sad seeing that and knowing that these people weren't coming home after a day of work.

Yes, it's great that we have a day like this dedicated to the people who died in this horrific tragedy. I'm not trying to disrespect the people who died but on the other hand, this day is blown up way more than it should be. I feel bad for people who have lost loved ones because that's all they will hear about while they're trying to forget what happened and move on from it. It's like this every year.

Regardless, my heart goes out to all the first responders, victims, and families that were forever changed because of this tragic event.

343 will always be in our hearts, R.I.P. brother's we will take it from here.

The 23 NYPD, 37 Port Authority, 343 FDNY, and all of the civilians killed that day will never be forgotten, and neither will the sacrifices made by the men and women serving our country at home and abroad. Have a great day living under the freedom that they provide. God Bless America.

Today will always be a somber day in American history.

I was in Mr. Rice's class at Chattahoochee High School in Atlanta watching the events unfold on television. I was still just a kid then, only 15 years old and I didn't fully understand the gravity of what I was watching.

Today, as I put on my uniform, step into the flight deck of a commercial airliner, and welcome people aboard the 4 flights I'll be flying today, I understand.

I will never forget.

Although I don't remember much from this, I do remember going to school in the following years, and since it wasn't all that long ago at the time, I remember seeing my teachers just depressed and angry on the day that it happened. We will never forget such a tragedy.

SCNG FTW!!
