• 6? Meh. No random letters on the end, so no good. I will wait for the iPhone 6SUcK3r. Sure, it'll cost at least twice as much for all those characters, but it is worth it to be an insufferable cunt in

 • Of course you need to buy an iPhone magnifier, or squint really really hard, to fully appreciate that resolution. It will go perfectly with the "Why did I not just buy a decent camera?" lense for you

It's about time they made it larger.  I was just saying a few weeks ago that if they made a 5"+ phone I would consider buying it.  And indeed they finally have.  Can't say much else is different though, looks like they added a "25% faster CPU", a barometer, and NFC payment.  Nothing new there really, those have been around in other phones for quite some time.  It looks better than the old ones though.

If my contract runs out I'd have to consider a switch from my LG G2 to the iPhone 6 Plus, when before I never, ever would have considered buying an iPhone.  Even though it's not a revolutionary phone in any way, I've always been a little depressed by the sometimes lackluster performance of even high-end android phones.  With all of my things stored in Google's services though, a switch would be a nightmare and I'll probably just wait for the next big android flagship phone.

Apple makes some pretty good products. I love the look of the Iphone 6. Now I have used Iphone and Android both have there ups and downs. Like with apple it was the looks and speediness and Android was its sleek look and able to customize. Now I currently have the Galaxy S5 and I love I would not switch to the Iphone 6. I would love to try it but I wouldn't buy it. Another thing with Apple is its great that they keep updating every year but its like you can't keep up every time when I had a Iphone a year would go by like that and another one would be out..

While I agree with everything you've said, I just want to mention that this part is true with almost every phone company nowadays.  Seems like every year or two they come out with a new flagship model that makes the old model entirely obsolete.

One thing I forgot to mention in my first post is that I'm glad to see with the newest iOS version, Apple is opening the customisation doors a little bit with third-party keyboards.  That's partly what enables me to even consider a switch.

I myself own a Galaxy S5 also, Great phone and great camera but I find it feels cheap with all the plastic and such. Looking at Apples new phone I am not too crazy for it. I like the design of the 5S better then the new 6's I find it too rounded. Buying into Apple you are buying into the brand. They know their phones and give them a nice durable feel (compared to my S5)  but they are behind the pack; saying that would I switch? No I like my Galaxy and full HD though I find 5.1in a little large (nevermind 5.5). Nice improvement Apple but a bit too late, still can't take away S5. Maybe next year....

If I helped, I would appreciate you pressing the green arrow to the right of your screen!

Android did that awhile ago! Apple is always playing catchup and yet people still buy all their crap religiously. On another note if you want a great android phone that doesn't have that cheap samsung  feel and look get the HTC M8. I have it and love it its metal so it has that high end feel and its a great phone with the best speakers you will find on a phone right now or in the near future.

I'm not really a fan of Apple, although the phone does look nice, I've always stuck by with Google and android, mainly because one I think android products are easier to operate than apple and two it's google, my favorite technology company.

A 1080p display on a 5.5 inch screen, sure, okay.

Can you open up the back of the M8 and does it have a micro SD slot of so im totally buying it.

I have been using a Samsung galaxy S3 for a year while my sister has been using it for two years. It is durable. (Survived more than 50 falls from a meter(mine and my sister's one), survived water(my sister's one), survived 75-80% humidity for over 2 hours(mine) and both are working like nothing happened.) It has a nice screen with 720p resolution along with 1GB ram. I don't remember its cpu specs. It is affordable, makes sense since there is S4 and S5 along with Note 3. S3 is a good choice since it is really cheap now.

I don't follow up on Apple because their products are mostly not worthy of the price they quote (in my country they're 'awful' expensive). So I don't know what features iPhone x presents. However, I just received this post over at Facebook from someone:

with the tagline: "So you are changing your iphone 5 with iphone 6 just for an inch ? Hope your girlfriend won't do the same."

I own a Nexus 4 and a 7 2013 myself.

I've never been into phone tech. IMO every phone does the same as all the other phones do. Everything looks the same no matter how advanced it is.

60fps? looks the same as 30fps.

1920x1080? looks the same as my phone, and mine is a dookie phone.

cool new apps? I got the same stuff.

High res pictures? Unless you're a "let me take a selfie" every 3 minutes type of person then its for you, for others... Aint nobody got time for that!

I don't mean to bash on Apple or Phone Tech enthusiasts but I think I'll stick with my MetroPCS Android phone and instead of giving Apple my money, I'll keep it in case of an emergency. You never know when you'd actually need it.
