Well, seeing as NB's "ask me questions about stuff" thread has proven to be a big hit, I figured that there might be a few people who might want to ask me some questions too. Hopefully this thread can also provide a more efficient method of replying to questions, as I do get quite a lot of PMs asking random things as is, and although I do try to reply to all of them, some of them do unfortunately get lost/forgotten about.

It's not really that relevant any more I guess, but when PPM was still alive, it was just a little humour seeing as the moderator on their site said that the mod was supposed to be realistic, yet you would arrive to a "man with a gun call" and get blown up by a 100% accurate RPG.

1) How is the studying coming along? And another thing. Is it really that bad with tuition fees in the UK because I have quite some English neighbours in my dorm saying the money is just ridiculous.

2) I saw on your profile you chose computing science. Do you intend to use this for law enforcement purposes like for instance the computer crime division or do you have no intentions of joining a police force?

1 / I'm on holiday until February, so no studying here until then. Secondly, in Scotland, Scottish students don't pay tuition fees (they are paid for by the government).

2 / I have absolutely no intention of going into the police. It would be a challenging and rewarding job, and perhaps something to consider later on, but right now I'm happy with computing.
