I don't know if you guys have seen this yet or not but its worth a watch because its a pretty cool light bar. As most of you probably know I have a strong dislike for the Liberty. I've never used it on a model and don't plan to anytime soon BUT when I saw the Liberty ll I had a strong change of heart. One of the biggest things I like is that they removed the black surrounding the modules. I don't know, I just think its sexy. 

 

 

Thoughts?

Those are optional, meaning the lightbar for gta wouldn't have to have those. 

Looks very nice. Love all the new features of it like the ally lights. 

Ahh, "flicker" mode. Mass. State Police and Rhode Island State Police have been experimenting with that for a couple years now. You can see it in use here at 0:24 :

 

Supposedly, it's been extremely effective.

I call it "advanced steady-burn" =)  I think it's the reason why California mandates steady burn because it's the most visible from a distance.

Whelen Liberty isn't best lightbar imo, but this one it looks pretty nice :)

Maybe not looks wise, but in performance it is one of the most revolutionary bars on the planet. Why do you think a good chunk of Fire, Ems, And police in the us use the bar? :P

Watch the video in my first post, there is a part where they talk about pulsating modules in the rear. Instead of a steady burn there is a very very fast flash going on. So fast you don't really see a break in the color but slow enough that your eye can notice the fact that its pulsing and not just steady burn

I really love the look of the Whelen Liberty II. I also don't like the first generation Liberty, I don't like how it is set up, with the spaces between the lenses, the cheap looking glass edges and especially the black in it. The Liberty II changes exactly everything I dislike about the Liberty.

 

So I'd really love to see that one in GTA IV someday, I am looking forward to some vehicles hopefully coming out soon. And maybe ... for a new ELS version ... a night/day light mode, if that's even possible, god that'd be awesome

Not a fan of either lightbar, but the Liberty II looks better, for example the gaps between the LED modules have been eliminated.
