Call me crazy, but along with LSPDFR (I hope that's possible) I would also really like to see a "Gang Mod" for GTA 5. One in which three things are possible.

 

1. Choose your gang

2. Take over territories

3. Tag with graffiti

 

Anyone else with this wish?

I was hoping rockstar would expand on gangs in a dlc sometime in the future.

Especially with Franklin having some sort of relation with the dead, Grove Street Families. Back in GTA SA, you play as CJ. He's considered a "high ranking" member of the gang, and you play through the rise and fall of the GSF.

 

If LSPD:FR does release, It's going to be an entirely new and better experience. Just looking at the actions of the AI officers in story mode, you I can tell that the AI has been vastly improved. This will be in our favor if LSPD:FR does release. Not only do the AI cops pit suspects, but they also follow the suspect in an assembly line. They don't pile up and push each other off the road.

What I like is that programming the suspect AI for pursuits will be a breeze. All you have to do is set them to panic mode, and they actually attempt to evade in a very realistic manner, and do not pull over for police sirens. I tested this and had some fun actually. Just pull up behind them, fire a shot at them, and chase them. They will even lead you on a foot pursuit if their vehicle becomes too damaged or stuck. It's like rockstar knew we'd try or something. They even fixed the problem where the AI would crash into you if you were at a red light, now the AI recognizes that, and will stay calmly behind you. I imagine that if LSPDFR does come out, it will no longer be a crash fest because there's really not a whole lot that needs to be changed or added. ELS is built into the game, I won't be needing an ENB personally because I think it already looks amazing. Tasers are in the game etc.

 

But if you were able to choose a gang, which one would it be? I'd go with either the Ballas or the Marabunta Grande (they're the underdogs).

I'm more of a Lore type of guy, so I'd choose the Grove Street Families. Sort of that resurrection and redemption type of scenario. After the gang dies, it rises back into power and is again the most powerful gang in all of Los Santos.

I totally agree with you but he does have a point, it would actually make more sense to name it SAPD:FR or something like that, wouldn't it? Since its consists of authorities throughout the state, not only the LSPD.

 

LSPD:FR is sorta more catchy though and I believe it's already a term of its own :D

Well I promise that it's not my intention to annoy you in any way. If it seems that way then I apologize. The reason I call it LSPDFR is because I don't know what else to call it as it's not even in development at the moment. Only the LCPDFR guys really know what they will call it, and you're right it probably will not be LSPDFR but at the moment that term is recognizable by the community.

I would add some LASD theme cars for sheriff, CHP motorbike, us park ranger SUVs, and Lapd theme cars

Just wait and see what it will be called IF it gets released, as stated by Jay numerous times. 

I hope it gets released within the next two years. If not, I'll probably never be able to experience LSPD:FR. I'll be off in the US Army :(.
