The preliminary results of an autopsy performed by Dr Michael Baden, who did an additional autopsy at the request of the family, have just been released.

 

According to the report, Michael Brown was shot 6 times, with all the entrance wounds at the front of his body. This pokes a major hole in the witness accounts saying Brown was shot in the back running.

Another important point raised by this autopsy, is that all the entry wounds appear to be on the FRONT of his arm. If his hands were raised in the air, the bullets would not have struck the front of his arm unless he had his arm contorted into an unnatural position. The autopsy results suggest that Mr. Brown had his arms down at his sides, which support the officer's narrative that Brown was running towards him.

 

The more factual evidence comes out, the more the eye witnesses are discredited. Yet another in a long line of countless examples where "witnesses" are not as reliable as they should be. A lot of times, in cases all over the world, witnesses don't actually know what they saw and they can only provide part of the story. That's why facts and evidence are essential information prior to judgement being rendered, and it's why the media and the people who spread this nonsense in the early days following this incident are partly responsible for the damage and destruction that has ensued in Ferguson.

As I stated in the beginning of this thread. A white cop shot a black teen in a black neighborhood with black neighbors as eyewitnesses. Is racism that bad in Ferguson?

I'm not racist by any means, but it makes me livid to know that these eye witnesses may not have seen anything and are rioting over the fabricated claims of a white man killed black man. Everything has to be a hate crime nowadays. I'm not saying they don't happen, but you can't automatically assume it is. The media is not innocent by any means. As well as guys like Al Sharpton. You don't even know what the hell happened and you're demanding they release his Name? I wouldn't be this irate if the riots were happening after the investigation and it was found to be a bad shoot. But nobody knows yet. People have died over this. Is it really worth It? And people wonder why I'm a pessimist....

The evidence coming out seems to support the officers claims but they still have much more investigating to do. But as of now, it's not looking good for the witnesses and rioters.

That is the most biased article I've seen yet. The information in there is very misleading and the author either chose not to do research or they intentionally left facts out. They focused on a few examples of raids that have gone wrong and of course looking at their resources at the bottom where they cite their information I see that they have listed Wikipedia, which we know is the best source to use when you are writing a professional news article.

They list reasons why we need to stop militarizing our police but those, again, are very biased opinions and are not backed up by facts. How about someone does an article about all the warrants served without SWAT teams? Then people would see how many more "raids" occur with no SWAT team present and can focus on what happens then. I'll help them out and give them a case that hits pretty close to home for me.

 

Back in 2011, some officers from the St. Pete Police Department assisted the U.S. Marshals on serving a warrant for failure to appear on a domestic battery charge. The suspect had a long history of violent crimes including aggravated battery, attempted murder, rape, battery on a LEO, and plenty more. There was no SWAT team, helicopters, armored cars, or anything like that. During a search of a house they suspected him to be at they found him hiding in the attic where he ended up shooting and killing two St. Pete police officers and wounding a U.S. Marshal. I don't think any of these people claiming our militarized law enforcement agencies are getting out of control want to hear that story though.

At about 2:45:30 in this video, there was multiple shots fired directly at the police.

 

So I just got done watching live where in the past 3 hr's in 3 different  location's people

 

 ( watched the following and saw this happen live t.v. )

 

1.)  1st spot - tried to build make shift street blockade's throw port a potties in the street and 1 girl had dug up a do not enter sign and stood in middle of street defying the cop's, also  threw bottles and eventually fire bomb's at police aka molotov cocktail's forcing the cop's to tear gas and move in on the crowd

 

2.)  2nd spot - protester's up the street from where brown was shot tried to set a building on fire, and the retreated down the street where brown was  shot draw a fire line/ set the street on fire 

 

3.) not far from where the media was , some1 got shot by people runnin round fergson,  and the police asked 10 + times for non media to leave the area before the cop's started moving and people still stayed and defied them

 

Like really none of the 3 incident's that happened tonight  8-18-2014  help your cause at all

2 civilians were shot tonight with no shots fired by police. One was shot in the hand and the other had to be extracted in an armored vehicle. Conditions unknown

If one, or many (in this case) are trying to prove a point, buildings should not be burnt down, stores should not be looted, vandalism should not occur, riots should remain non-existent, and the right to peacefully assemble and protest should be fully utilized. However, when such violent and wrongful acts occur, there is no other option for law enforcement besides neutralizing the issue at hand. This, as we all know, means tear gas, bean bag rounds/rubber bullets, and other non-lethal weapons. If only we lived in a perfect world where we utilized our given rights appropriately, rights were not violated by the police, and those inhabiting a community respected the people that protect them (Police, Military, etc.)

 

County dispatch immediately cut in and said in one of the most frantic transmissions I’ve ever heard, “First and second precinct all units respond at once, J1. Expedite. They’re about to overrun the CP.” The dispatcher was so beside herself that she forgot to put out the code. It didn’t matter though. The message was received

....

Nevertheless, the sounds of struggling and yelling into the radio only intensified. I jumped in the car with my team and we headed to what was quickly elevating from a riot to a battle. Shots were being fired by the rioters. People were down. Tear gas was being deployed. For the first time, it seemed like instead of a series of randomized but widespread events, we had a central consolidated force attacking us.

As a Jew, and a descendant of people who fled Germany and others who survived the camps, I'm shocked that you fail to understand the intricacies of what really happened in World War 2. What we are seeing in Ferguson is nothing like what happened under Nazi rule, and to imply otherwise only showcases your ignorance. But hey, everyone is entitled their opinion and has a right to voice it, even if someone else thinks it's wrong.

 

I also have to point out the irony of you calling other people "kool aid drinkers". For that analogy to be remotely accurate, you'd have to admit that you are drinking it too, just simply drinking a different flavor than the rest of us. Of course, the analogy doesn't apply because those of us siding with the police are basing that decision on facts, logic, and reason, while people siding with the criminals are basing their decisions on distorted information, manipulated images and video, political ideology, emotion, and in some cases flat out lies. 

 

Also, there have not been any legitimate instances of the police attacking anyone or otherwise violating the law. Nothing of the sort has been reported by a reputable source, or that hasn't been dis-proven. Their actions have all been well within the law and reactionary in nature. Are you watching any of the real, unedited video footage that's been put out there? The criminals in the crowd of looters and rioters are shooting innocent people, shooting at aircraft, shooting indiscriminately at the crowds of people around them.

 

Those of us paying attention and with the mental capability to process factual information are very well aware of the fact that the rioters are not with the protesters. Unfortunately, the protesters message is being destroyed by the actions of the criminals hiding among them. The police have to respond to the crimes that are being committed in this city, and the actions of the criminals dictate the response from the police.

And I was waiting for you to post... Have you read some of the new facts coming out of the investigation? There is now a lot of support building for the officer. Witnesses are now corroborating the officers story. Medical evidence is confirming his story.
