If you could bring back any Game/ series

Featured Replies

I would love to see the True Crime series (LA or NY) come to current gen or next gen. I would also like to see Saint's Row come out with another game that's more like the first one.

Sleeping Dogs is the closest thing to it, it was meant to be True Crime Hong Kong, but some licencing issues or something, it has a triad/cop meter, killing innocents, causing accidents, and doing free run badly makes you lose cop xp, while beating up enemy triads, doing action hijacks (jumping onto a car to steal it, it was in JC2) gets you extra triad xp, and theres a skill tree, with about 50 skills to unlock, plus theres loads to do, street races, gambling on cock fights, taking part in ''casino'' games, drug busts. Big game. Story is pretty good too. Also the map is huge

  • I would love to see Saints Row (1) on pc, with all the same bugs and glitches. That's an amazing game, its sequels are shit compared to the original. Also would love to see Crackdown (1) on pc as wel

What if Xplane10 and FSX had a baby, we would have the Kate Upton of Flight Sims.

If you could bring back any game series for a remake or sequel, what would it be?

Road Rash.

SOCOM, that was my first real introduction to online gaming with the PS2. Once SOCOM 4 came out the game was pretty much ruined for me. SOCOM 3 was the last really good one. SOCOM Confrontation (the first one for PS3) was not bad since it was basically a re-make of SOCOM 2.

Another game I would love to see come back or maybe a remake with current gen engines and graphics is Body Harvest. Body Harvest was a great game in my opinion that was underrated by other great titles for the N64. It had a GTA feel to it but with aliens. I spent so many hours on the game driving a firetruck, playing with light switches, roleplaying and killing aliens that I never got to beat the game.

I would love to play the old 007 games with current graphics

My favourite of them all is Everything Or Nothing, which was so much fun and it would be great if EA did an HD Remake

Just seen FailRaces video on Street Legal Racing Redline and Oh My God it is amazing. I mean the customization! Imagine that with PS4 like graphics

Heres a link to the video for all who haven't seen it.

The SOCOM franchise, I would give my firstborn to have those days back again. Those who played online during those days know what I'm talking about. A modern remake of either Socom, Socom 2, Socom 3 would make my decade, keep the game the same, just modernize the graphics. The PS3 release, Socom Confrontation wasn't like the others. Thats my choice though that game and the great people I met online during those times, some of whom I still talk with 10+ years later

Microsoft Flight Simulator X.

Check this out: http://www.prepar3d.com/

It's FSX improved by Lockheed Martin. Too expensive for me, but always an option, especially if you are a student.

As for me: A new Fallout, L.A. Noire set in the 70's, and Star Wars: Galaxies.

Syphon Filter

I loved burning enemies with the taser. It was stupid but fucking awesome lol

Good old times. Loved the first 3 parts on PSOne

How different is SOCOM 1-3 to CONFRONTATION as CONFRONTATION is the only SOCOM i have Played

Its hard to explain since you haven't played it but 1-3 were the most addictive and enjoyable games I have ever played. Confrontation didn't have the same "feel" as the PS2 versions. You know how your use to a game, the way it plays and the way it feels, then when the sequel comes out its not the same? Well thats how it was, it didn't have that classic "socom" feel, it wasn't the addictive SOcrack anymore. Not to mention the initial release was riddled with bugs and connection issues. It was bundled with the original PS3 bluetooth headset so that was a pretty good buy, I still use that headset. If I remember correctly a different company developed Confrontation than the one that did 1-Combined Assault. I have a feeling that had a lot to do with it, if you have the same people create 4 games and then all the sudden have someone else try and replicate and improve on what they were doing its on course to end up being different. That is and forever will be my all time favorite game and the only one I would want remade again. Write the code exactly the same, make the game the exact same way except modernize the graphics to meet today's standards/capabilities.

It would be great to have the models from that game as open source components.

I know what you mean, I felt the same way when Criterion started making NFS instead of EA & Blackbox.

Jurassic Park Operation Genesis, an HD remake of the 2005 NFS Most Wanted, The Fire Department series (by Monte Cristo, god I loved those games) and finally The Movies.

Damn shame really. To be honest I never really listened to the music as I was always in pursuit mode and the pursuit music would kick in. There's a few mods for the pc version to improve textures and add vehicles, but nothing "overhaulish"

I still have my copy of the ''BLACK EDITION'' for the PS2 that I bought back in 2006, and have it mostly complete. It would be nice to have an overhaul mod to make NFSMW significantly better on PC, infact EA could take away the music they lost the licence for, add in some music from Carbon and Underground that they have licence for and put in a multiplayer mode and that is an instant hit.
