It was more than likely a filler for the trailers. Speaking of fillers, the police computers still have the LCPD screen on them. Just shows you how much Rockstar really don't give a damn about the emergency vehicles, I can't really blame them though, the majority of people are going to be killing the cops rather than role-playing as them (I haven't played the game in about 5 months, so this may of been patched but I doubt it).

Speaking about it, I wouldn't mind having a version of old police car among others. I would even place it to precincts in bad neighborhoods. But adding another type of police car is impossible, I suspect

So LCPD VSPIs don't fit Liberty City as well? I mean, GTA IV is set in 2008.

Rockstar certainly did it in V and IV already before. I don't think it's a matter of whether it fits or not considering they haven't paid a whole lot attention to stuff fitting in. There was some retarded backlash in GTAForums though, so maybe that had an effect. Who knows.

Come on people, it is just my opinion, it is not a big deal.   and I also like ford crown victoria in GTA V. The game will look like Los Angeles.
