Completely new to modding and modding GTA so forgive my lack of knowledge, I am struggling to figure out how to install other mods such as callouts, vehicles, and mods such as that. I downloaded them into my gta folder on my drive but none of them ever show up in my game. What am i doing wrong? Thank you in advance

Install the Modding DLC Pack V and OpenIV. Download the mod and extract the files using WinRAR. Open OpenIV and select GTA V for Windows. Click Edit Mode in the top right corner and accept the warning. Navigate to Tools > ASI Manager and install the ASI Loader, OpenIV.ASI and openCamera if you haven't already. Open Package Installer (the icon with the blue, red, and green box) and select the ModdingDLCPackV.oiv file from your extracted download. Click Install, and be sure to choose mods folder (not the base game folder) to keep your game safe.

Your new folder will be located in your mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/ directory.

Almost every mod you download includes installation instructions in the description. For example, if you look at MCCallouts 1.8.6.0 and see two folders (lspdfr & plugins) plus a readme file, you simply drag the lspdfr and plugins folder into your main game directory (Grand Theft Auto V). For vehicle DLCs such as [32 Sirens][DLC][ELS Hybrid] LSPD Legacy Pack 1.0.1 you navigate to: GTA V > mods > update >x64 > dlcpacks. Then drag and drop the lspd legacy pack folder into the dlcpacks folder. Then navigate to GTA > mods > update > update.rpf > common > data and open dlclist.xml and add the following line: <Item>dlcpacks:/lspd legacy pack/</Item>. For the XML files, place them in GTA > ELS > pack_default. For the .xml (ELS) files to work, you need Emergency Lighting System 1.05. You can install it quite easily by following the installation instructions. Also, if you see “[32 Sirens]” in the title or description, you will also need SirenSetting Limit Adjuster version 2.0.3, which is currently not updated and does not work properly, but you can download it here: ↓

If you feel that I’ve been helpful, a simple “thank you” is enough. 🙂
