Lily Allen gets AFP into trouble after a viral photo released on IG

Featured Replies

Shortly after arriving in Australia, Lily Allen was met with the AFP (Australian Federal Police).. most likely to escort her to wherever she was going. She requested to be put in handcuffs and make it look like she was arrested so a photo could be taken. Since it went on her Instagram, it went viral.. which has gotten the AFP officers/agents into trouble and an investigation is being conducted.

What are your thoughts on this matter? do these officers deserve to be punished or should the people investigating these officers should lighten up and take a joke?

I'm more curious about why she wanted to be placed in handcuffs for a photo in the first place.

She most likely did it to be random.. she did post it to instagram with the hastag '#uhoh'

Publicity.

I've learnt not to treat 'super stars' any differently to anyone else. What annoys and baffles me, is why people feel inclined to give these celebrities special treatment, or to do as they say?

I honestly don't see the issue. Yes she is a celebrity, but no harm was done to anyone because of this. Yes it was a publicity booster, but why must they make all kinds of hoopla about it?

I don't see the issue either, they were just having a bit of fun. hpwever they did breach protocol.. so god knows what other stupid things are part of the AFP protocol.
