Those UK police bikes look very 'different', Shekure.

Hey guys would you have any classic Jersey City Police (NJ) cars in your archives/favourite links? I'm curious, I'd really like to make a classic livery set.

I like what I'm seeing. Cheers.

80's stuff.

My bad, I misread it. There are barely old pictures of the Jersey City PD, at least that I could find. Few around here (scroll down), the next one which is a mid 70's full size Chevy if I am not mistaken. The car is blue, the roof and text is yellow/orange, the lights are red (like in every NJ cop car).

1979 and 1980's Impala... I remember finding some reference picture for a 1980's Caprice as well but I don't remember where did I put it. Anyway it looked like this.

I am liking these photos (and all the other photos you have posted, including the NJSP ones). The '547-5477' number, what does that reference to?

Cheers.

The old Jersey City paintjob is almost reminiscent of the old NY State Police.

That Seattle livery is beautiful, Ringo.  It looks perfect on that Diplomat and Satellite.  I think it looks better than the modern livery, though I do wonder how the modern livery would look on a classic car.

That's something more to add for the to do list as soon as we get the Diplomat;) More stuff from Seattle.

By the way, weren't they supposedly restoring a Dodge Aspen as well?

Those are neat pics. Probably, the only ones I know they have at the moment are a King County Fury I, a Gran Fury and Satellite from Seattle, and a Fury and a 1949 Ford (I think) from the Washington State Patrol

At some point in time Swedish police force used black-and-white livery (which I prefer much more over that battenburg nightmare). All the cars are Swedish with the exception of some Plymouths.

Policía Sandinista - Sandinista Police

Created between 1979 and 1980 after the Sandinistas overthrow Somoza's regime in the 1979 Nicaraguan Revolution. In the early 1990's it lost its political background and became the Nicaraguan Policía Nacional.
