I'm sort of new here, and to GTA IV and have only been playing this for a few days.

STORY:

I started to do a traffic stop on a cab that nearly sideswiped me. Before I could hit my shift button to initiate the traffic stop, I got rear ended by another car. Well for some odd reason (Probably GTA logic?) the driver of the car that rear ended me gets out of his car, walks up to my cruiser, pulls me out and starts punching me. I quickly withdrew my weapon and fired a couple of shots, a few hitting him. He then pulls a gun and starts shooting me. Next thing I know, some random pedestrian starts shooting too. I was outnumbered, and died.

 

All I could do was laugh. These people have some SERIOUS road rage.

Was this random ped wearing all black and sorta beefy looking? If so, sounds like you ran into one of the bouncers at the clubs. They tend to  do that a lot it feels like when you find yourself in a gun situation near a club (like the Strip Joint in East Bohan). I had it happen a few times in the past, though I usually carry the taser on me, they usually drop their weapon (and themselves), and become extra cooperative.

 

 

 

Tip #1 - Never fire a gun in Hove Beach. 

Why would you open fire in Hove Beach? Like seriously.. that is the first thing that should be taught before playing GTA 4 xD

 

You fire a shot in Hove Beach.. you'll need the Military to back you up cause every Russian decides to have a gun fight.

Hardcore mode, walked up to a window and he pulls an uzi on my chest and blasts, i stumble back so much that by the time I recover and host my pistol, hes already reloaded and started dumping another clip. I die. Sometimes in HC mode when I get hit I'll stumble then freeze in a standing position, unable to move at all. Unfortunate. I love the fire fights.

I was patrolling Acter Industrial park when we received a shots fired call. I raced to the scene, calling NOOSE, National Guard and the Spanish Inquisition (it's not like we have firefights in our Industrial area too often), and saw a very strange and spooky picture: eight people were on the ground face down, all in the same pose, hands up. All DEAD. And noone in the area except me! Damn, that was really weird. I remembered F.E.A.R. where supernatural powers executed armed Delta guys. Coroner said they 'tried to fly'

Back in LCPD:FR 0.95 the game glitched, and well.. it spawned a shots fired call (Alderney's Industrial District), so i accept, switch on my lights and sirens, pull up to the scene and i don't hear any shots. Like there are people on the HUD, but no one is shooting, i run over to the scene with an M4 drawn, what do i see.

 

LCPD:FR glitched and spawned the suspects with tasers xD They were all there shooting each other with tasers, i said "scew it", pulled out my taser and joined in xD

When the suspect jumped out to the water just to escape, then stayed there thinking that he is not being seen.

I have been thinking of notable ones I still have a good memory of, there was a recent one last week I was doing. I pulled over a guy for running a red, and asked him for ID, to which he replied that he "Left it at home." Usually, I'll ask them to step out, so then I may Frisk them and then arrest, when a bus pulls up, and runs down my partner, and then stops. I make him step off of his bus, to which he then also replies that he left his ID "at home" (seems to be a common occurance these days.)

The cops in LC... I got 2 little stories:
1: There was a guy running away from the cops. He ran through whole Hove Beach. He pulled a gun after about 5 minutes and tried to shoot a civilian to still his car. He didn't hit the first bullet. A retarded cop hit him with about 100 km/h, in a very long drift. Well... I didn't find his body. :D

2: Same area, some situation. A suspect was running on foot, he got it by a cop car and got up again. The cops got out of the car and the suspect stole it. After he crashed, he got out trying to steal another car when some cops came again. He stole another police car, ran over two cops and got shot.

lol....Yeh thats why we have S.W.A.T. backup....
