i don't think its a troll. they do this every year or so. but if it is  people will get overly emotional and the forums will be 500 times worse than they are now. 

They're probably releasing it on the time zone that they are located in

thats true. i expected server crashes within the last 2 hours of the countdown. at least we arent dealing with that

Off subject, they should mess with people and make a Count up button instead for about 30 minutes then switch it back lol.  I mean I know there is about 1500+ topic replies here and I am sure there is another 2k people that are just waiting for the download button to appear and are not commenting because they didn't bother to register, but why am I more excited over this than the actual release of GTA 5?  Maybe GTA 6 they should seriously consider making a whole freaking game like this.  Maybe pick different characters at the beginning  Criminal / Police  and then have a whole story mode based off of that.  You can then do kinda what they have now with the online features where you can create a character screen etc.   Dunno just a thought.  Just seems the community of GTA series really likes these kinds of mods.

Lol yeah I have yet to see that, it's probably like Will said, or just bugged. I've seen a lot of cops steal civilian vehicles to chase me, but never a helicopter like that.

It probably WILL have callouts. In the feature preview it says that LCPDFR's features will return.

I agree, the only reason I bought a whole new gaming rig was to play LSPDFR actually. I would not have bought the same game, for a third time, if it didn't have LSPDFR, because there's no point for me to play the campaign AGAIN. This will bring a whole new meaning to playing SP.
