LCPDFR 0.95RC1 - Can't go on Duty / Start LCPDFR [Even when Forced]

Featured Replies

Hey guys! I just downloaded LCPDFR 0.95RC1, and Installed some new car mods on my GTA.

Everything has seemed to work up to this point including ELS 6, car mods, map mods, and everything else I have, but I'm expieriencing one problem. I cant go on duty.

Ive tried re-downloading and installing LCPDFR, along with GTA IV itself. When I try to go on duty, and / or force on duty, my screen blurs a tiny bit, and doesnt do anything.

Below is a log of my Diagnostics report.

** As sam suggested below with the .net scripthook, I re-installed everthing (and I mean everything), and Still nothing up to this point has worked... Does any body have anymore suggestions for me as this has been really frustrating. Thanks!

Make sure that you actually go down to the police station, And do what you need to, to go on duty, Also, To fix the blur, HIt P again, Not sure if you already knew how to go on duty, But some people never knew that you had to go down to the station to go on duty, Alt + P just starts the mod now.

Yea, Ive tried that too. Note that It also doesnt work with any of the other LCPDFR's (.95 beta 1 and .91)

Anyone else have any good tips / suggestions for helping me please?

This looks like a problem with the .net scripthook, as something is obviously preventing it from running and loading the script. It's most likely that one of its dependencies is missing, so make sure that you have this http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=a7b7a05e-6de6-4d3a-a423-37bf0912db84, and this http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=17718

Hmm. That didnt work either man... Is there anything else I could do, or do you have any idea whats causing this? It would be really helpful if I could get this solved.

When i press Alt + P only what i get is notification like 'Duty Forced'.

Aswell i can respond to calls but can't dress, choose car or enter the station ...

Well, I am about to tell you guys if Sam's idea worked or not. For info, when you do the 2 program maintenances, say yes to restart your computer, it might change something.

Guys, if you guys have a problem, start your own post please.

AS well to the topic, SnoPro, you are running Beta? Did you try to switch to the RC2 version at all?

Yes, try to have no mods going, just basic and simple LCPDFR installed and see how that runs first. Try to run the game as admin along with making an account with Rockstar if you already don't and pressing 'Play' instead of 'Play Offline'

Found a possible fix, Press just "p" a few times, Then Alt + P until the Mod says "LCPDFR stopped", Then press Alt + P to start the mod, Then it should bring up the normal stars and options.
