Happened less than 30 minutes ago. Lifeflight helicopter has been brought in, and they're calling for medical support on the scanner.

that's terrible that this is happening, and my prayers go out to all those currently involved and i hope they stay protected by the police there. i do hope that they catch this shooter and he is brought to justice.

As usual - an army of cops outside, several dead bodies, and a suicide by the gunman. I don't even remember when police were able to stop a similar crime. 

 

On the translation it's said that the perp is cornered by the cops who were in the school when the shooting began, and possibly dead.

It's a serious shame. Troutdale is only a little over an hour from where I live. I hope no student or faculty member was seriously hurt.

 

EDIT: As of 9:32am PST, It sounds like the shooter shot himself before police could get inside, and the police don't know if anyone is injured. They called EMS just in case.

What is this, the 100th one this year? I'm getting tired of these idiots.

I hate what this world has come to, that is just it. The kids growing up get worse and worse.

It's a damn shame that these type of things keep happening. RIP to all the fallen and those affected by this tragedy (except the shooter).

As a fellow Oregonian my thoughts go out to the families.  These shootings are an absolute tragedy.  While a debate about these shootings is certainly justified I agree with the others that it should be kept separate from a topic like this to notify people of such a heinous act.
