Funniest Thing That Happened To Me in LCPDFR 1.0

Featured Replies

Just recently about maybe 2 weeks ago, I've just experienced one of the most funniest things in LCPDFR 1.0. I was just on patrol and I had to pull over a vehicle due to his reckless driving, he was just swerving on the road. Then when I walked up to his window, slowly, we got in a pursuit. Just after a while when this pursuit's duration got longer, in time, I then had no more control of my player as of if my game had a mind of its own. My partner jumped out of the vehicle leading himself into a suicidal predicament and I, myself, was being chased by the cops and they decided to ignore the actual suspect. So I kept pressing as many keys as I could so at least I could control my player without having to be a computer player. That didn't work, so I tried Simple Native Trainer, changed my character and the game crashed :wallbash: . I was wondering to myself like what just happened, did my game have a mind of its own and it did.

Name any of times of when you experienced something funny with LCPDFR 1.0...

Yeah, this seems to be a bug in v1.0 (unconfirmed)

I have this uncontrollably issue too sometimes (about 2 times in around 50hrs of playing v1.0), mostly if I respond to a Homeless people causing Trouble  callout.

Your character enters a state of random walking/driving, & all the AI police will start targeting you. I tried putting stars on me & removing them, but that didn't work (guess because LCPD:FR has the Never wanted option set to On whenever you're on duty).

I was wondering if this happened due to me having the NoControl mod, but since you're getting this too, then I guess not.

Anyway, anyone else had this happen to them?

I get this bug almost every time I play- it seems to happen, like you say, when responding to homeless calls. I find it quite funny and will let my character get killed by any officers nearby. Once respawned I have full control back.

It's a really odd bug.

Same thing has happened many time. I lose complete control of my player and get shot by the police. I do have to admit it's probably the funniest bug I've ever seen.

This sounds like an xliveless file failure. When the file fails, GTAIV will make your player do wild uncontrollable things. Mostly things like this would happen to me when my game is not fully open for modifications, because for whatever reason the copy of xliveless used to make it modifiable fails to do so.  If you are using xliveless, try using a different copy of the file and see if that will stop it. It’s worth a shot. It works for me.

I don't use xliveless with my game and I still get this bug.

Neither do I.

I tried removing my NoControl mod today, & I still have to do more testing to make sure that that mod wasn't the problem.

I'll update this post when I tried it out/got more info.

Just one more thing that makes lcpdfr more difficult to play. From AI officers crashing into you, causing a wreck and allowing the suspect to get away,to your partner sitting in the back seat after a callout.

I will admit, some of these issues are pretty funny. I always love when AI officers are attempting to arrest a suspect, and your partner is the only person unleashing full clips on the person.

Something else I find hilarious is when you're in a vehicle pursuit with a suspect, and an oncoming officer misses the suspect, and hits you. I used to get pissed and cuss, but It's starting to become pretty funny.

  • 2 weeks later...

On my current patrol i shot a drug dealer 4 times with a shotgun and afterwards i hear a lone voice from the person i just shot, he said "Alright you win"

A cop is no good if he refuses to lay down his life for the safety of others
