Sam, are you still working on privately converting a few peds? How has that been going? I'm curious to see if some of the bugs in the beta are going to be permanent or if you've worked around them. 

Models nice, but does anyone conversion of voices and animation? Male cops may look fine with a default voice, but women without converting voices will be the walking scenery. Also we must think about how to do so could go on patrol characters of different genders. Two women on patrol is unrealistic.

Absolutely.  I'm working on a nice polished version of the female LSPD cop adapted into an LCPD version.  I just finished converting over all the audio files for it from GTA V and manually renaming and identifying them all :).  Took about 5 hours.

It's possible that there may be a scripted solution for these problems.

 

EDIT: In an update to what I said above, I just successfully replaced the M_M_FATCOP_01_WHITE audio file with an edited version containing over 200 sound clips taken from the white female LSPD officer in GTA V. 

 

Sadly there isn't enough similarity between the material in GTA V and GTA IV to do a like for like replacement, so there are a few speech clips I couldn't replace like asking to open the trunk, asking for ID and such.

Hehe, well, it worked for a good 20 minutes.  Then eventually I think the game had had enough of my voice editing and crashed :(

Clear. And what about a script that would allow a take a partner's model different from the model of the player? For example, M_Y_Cop and M_Y_Fatcop? If you write such a script, you can make even a script that would have forced a male-partner(AI) to speak for a female character, on which no file dialog.

About the glare: Not sure if it's the same cause, but back when Ridgerunner released his campaign hat, I had the same sorts of glare issues you seem to have with these. I don't remember if I had an ENB at the time, but I suspect not.

I've had my battles with glare and shine before too.

 

 

In my case it was always fixed by doing and double checking the normal maps and specular maps

Guys i' m making excellent progress with the accessores .ie hats, helmets, and glasses. dad to do a lot of coordinates.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Edit: Guys we have a problem, Apparently GTA Iv won't read two pairs of glasses or two hats. It will only read one of each per character. So i may have to use only the most sutable hat and glasses for each ped.

Are you sure? There are models who have both 2 glasses & hats.

How do you get into the gta v files? it hasen't been released for pc

I believe the default cop and fatcop can support two hats. In the original game, they both come with a regular hat and a rainy day (white) hat. I don't know about the models being able to support multiple pairs of glasses though.

The GTAIV trooper can I believe. Well, I think it's f554's (I think that's his name) improved troopers can have 2 different sunglasses.
