Hell no.

 

When you hear about legalizing marijuana, you always hear that it will lower crime and boost the economy. To be honest, I think that is the biggest load of bullshit. With the regarding crime part, just because you legalize something, it  won't lower crime. All you are doing is not calling it a crime anymore. Mine as well legalize grand theft auto, this way everyone will have a car and we'll have less crime. With the economy, it's a mess for the US and I think we will not gain anything from legalizing it in relation to the economy. If this becomes legal, just think about how many lazy people their will be and what work would be like if everyone showed up to work stoned. Nothing would ever get done.

 

The US has so many other problems to worry about, this is not one of them.

^^that (Tom H's post) and my opinion is that it should be legalized, but there should be punishments when driving while high (similar to DUI) and there should be age limits, 21 minimum (what Colorado and other states are doing)

It's fine when you're just chillin' in your house but it's a whole different story when you're intoxicated and begin to drive a motor vehicle or when you're intoxicated in the public.

 

To the other post- It depends on how often you do it and you're only one person. Just think about how many people would abuse it because they are not responsible enough with it. It would start to make a major impact.

I think its a wonderful idea. It has proven medical benefits, and there are no recorded deaths (that i know of) caused by the plant.

Legalizing it is a no-brainer.

Legal in Seattle :) I've seen a few people just walking around smoking a joint since Seattle PD decided it's putting Marijuana to the lowest priority lol. But other than it's been pretty normal lol haven't seen anything GTAIVCode3 and others described yet.

I'm just going to say one thing. Before you people going on about how marijuana is terrible for you and will cause you to have a shitty life. Think again almost every president has reported using Marijuana, 38% of Americans have admitted to smoking Marijuana. 

 

Marijuana has work wonders in the medical field, it has stopped kids from having seizures, has slowed down spread of cancer, even stopped the spread of cancer in some patients. It has worked wonders.

 

Marijuana is all natural and is a lot safer then Alcohol, people that have been caught driving under the influence of marijuana reportedly drove way under the speed limit. On the other hand drunk drivers go 90 down the wrong way of the freeway and hit a van full of kids head on killing each one.

 

Before you make a argument saying marijuana is horrible for your health a simple google search of it will tell you other wise.

We need to focus on more important issue in our country, such as health care, starving kids, education. Not some nautral plant that the only reason it was outlawed was because the paper company (which was a monopoly) threaten the government; if they didnt make the planet illegal (Which was a great alternative for wood for making paper)  they wouldn't elect them again. Its been illegal ever since.

Guess we will just have to let kids have seizures that the only thing that won't make them into a vegetable is the oil found in Marijuana. I'll go to the Childerns hospital tomorrow and tell poor old Jimmy he is going to have to suffer from seizures and life long health effects of the medicine to help slow down the seizure (most of which is found is cocan) Oh also will have to tell him probably won't live past 11 years old. All because people are to ignorant to actually read the health facts and wonders of marijuana.
