Thanks to the Internet I found this old game called Car Tycoon and I was just wondering where I could purchase it online? Thanks!

I'm curious if it will even work on your PC properly. Look at the supported OS's. Windows ME is the most modern one listed there.

While unfortunately it seems Car Tycoon, released in 2003 may be dead and lost to the internet (searches on Good Old Games.Com and Gamers' Gate found nothing) there is an advertised spirtual successor to Car Tycoon called Automation. Seems like better graphics, and from my limited time spent looking at it like it is much more in-depth. (Screenshots show motor assemblies and other nitty-gritty type work).

 

Perhaps this could be helpful and replace Car Tycoon (which may not run on newer OS's if it could be found.)

I was also looking back at this game a little while ago it should run on your PC under windows XP compatibility mode. Now how to get it, you probobly cannot buy it anymore and it is completely different then automation, Now I am against piracy but this is the only way I found the game, took me like 2 days and after many forums and topics it lead me to pirate bay*I AM NOT ENCOURAGING PIRACY* I am just saying this is the only known way to get it plus im pretty sure the company is dead so its not really pirating more salvaging.

If you look on laws of "Piracy" it is allowed if you own a copy of the game, or the game is no longer to be found.

I had (possibly still have) this game, and let me tell you from experience: You're not missing much. It was quite buggy, and nothing really seemed to work right. I was never really able to get a thriving company going in it. If you're hellbent on getting it, and have exhausted your alternatives, I might be able to help you out. PM me.
