Basically you need to have some crime reports submitted to the prosecutors, tickets issued. You just need to be active on the mdc system

Fix what? I think you misunderstood my message. By wipe I mean clear out all of the crime reports, tickets and write-offs to start a fresh and allow the prosecutors to regain control over the reports. 133 crimes to be dealt with and over 200 write-offs, we don't have enough active prosecutors to reduce that down to a more manageable amount given new reports and write-offs are being regularly submitted.

I personally am not attached to any of the reports I've made. I'm certainly not writing Gold, lol, so if we can wipe everything get some spring cleaning in, and help our prosecutors get everything sorted I'm all for a wipe of the system.

I support wiping the system. Whenever I go on and see the amount of write-offs waiting to be finalised I am stunned.

Re that bug I submitted, I don't think it is a bug anymore. I believe the root cause is that almost everybody is in jail therefore there are only a few people left in the database that can be generated. If that's not the case then the bug is still persisting.

Untitled, it's just like you said. When almost everyone is in jail, you'll only get names generated of people who aren't currently being held in prison. It's not a bug, it's just we're too efficient when it comes to arresting people, LOL.

As a prosecutor, I try my best to contribute on a regular basis. However, I do have other priorities in life so it can't be on daily basis. The amount of cases has indeed reached a critical level.

I'm free today so I'll try my best to deal with as much cases as possible. Write off's don't take that much time, it's the cases that I wish to prosecute that require most of my time.

If you would consider a wipe, I suggest the write off's to be wiped first. They aren't of that much importance anyway since no action is taken.

Their are still an unmanageable amount of cases that need to be completed and with more coming in everyday, wiping the whole system and starting a fresh is the best way for us to stay on top of things

No argument there, I have no problem with a complete wipe. I've prosecuted a couple of cases again and I've encountered a fair amount of cases which can't be dealt with yet seeing a warrant has to be completed first. These cases will obviously remain unsolved until the warrant is complete and the suspect is taken into custody.

No it will not

I wouldn't be against a full wipe. I know you did it once before, and at this time, i think it would be a good idea.

also, i am all for some sort of check in the "Generate persons" so that it will give you someone who isn't locked up already.

I have no clue how you have your database set up, but hopefully it wouldn't be too hard to add a check for in custody/incarcerated before providing that "person" to the user.

that being said, i think your system is awesome. i don't get to use it very often due to a fairly hectic work schedule, and other life commitments, but i wish i had more time :-D
