Could it be? Haven't seen this posted anywhere else yet. Note the settings screen with the video memory information and level of detail choice etc. 

 

Now, I'm just as skeptical as anyone, assuming it's fake, but I'd say it's at least a decent fake. 

 

What do you guys think? Real? Fake?

I, and many other members, will not consider a PC port of GTA V unless R* directly announces it from one of their official media outputs. What's the point in getting hyped up over something that could very well be a troll video? I'm not getting my hopes up one what-so-ever.

I'm gonna say it's fake, Since Rockstar hasn't announced a PC version.

 

Plus the way he moves the cursor.. It just feels like it's a controller (like the way the in game internet cursor moved in IV and V, I'm gonna say it's a realistic fake.

As JewishB pointed out, nothing from R* = No PC version. 

Don't you think Rockstar would say that there'd be no PC release by now, if they really weren't gonna release it for PC?

Don't you think Half Life 2: Episode 3 would be released by now? :p Of course, I am hoping for a GTA V PC version as much as the next person, but as long as R* doesn't say anything about it, it does not exist.

Yeah like everyone else says, unless R* says so, it's not real.

 

But just for those who say it's realistic let's go back a few steps and check some things out.

 

1) A person on youTube with 140 subscribers and 42 videos, would be allowed to release a video of the real thing? nope

2) If it was a PC version why did he not use fraps or similar to screen capture?

3) The mouse cursor movement is a controller.

4) You can hear the guy flicking the controller buttons to simulate mouse click. They sound very different.

5) How does he cycle through the menu's without moving the mouse? But yet you hear the exact same "mouse" noise?

6) You continue to hear that "mouse" noise while he decreases the detail distance on his menu, but yet his mouse isn't over one of the arrows so how is it doing anything?

 

The settings menu is a good little addition to make you think it's pc. So is the mapping of the buttons to a keyboard.

But it just screams fake so much it would be very difficult for an avid pc gamer to believe. :)

They didn't say they were going to release a PC version at all, So i doubt they'll say they're not making something that they never planned on making in the first place.

I wouldn't say they were quiet about it, actually quite the opposite. I believe with GTA V that this game was the first one in the series to receive a gameplay video, with actual game footage, prior to release. They had so much hype geared up, henceforth why the game was called "one of the most anticipated titles of 2013".

 

R* really wanted to spread the word about the game by releasing many screenshots, videos, and advertisements galore.

That's a very 'un-rockstarish' thing to do. Guess their just getting really cocky 'cos of all those sales.. but Take 2 and R* are pretty much the same.. right? I've heard about a lot of GTA V videos being taken down because they include copyrighted music (the GTA radio stations).

Nor would I consider purchasing that because of the cover art. It's nowhere near the actual cover art that was used for GTA V. What's funny is that it's using different bits and pieces from the first trailer and it's also using some parts from GTA IV's art.

The Gadget Show has published an article on it. I think it looks promising but of course, until R* says it...

Yeah, as I said in my original post, I was quite skeptical myself. However, the fact that it has been taken down by Take 2 (and that quickly might I add) is a bit suspicious. It's very possible that a dev of some sort recorded it on his phone (how would he record with FRAPS or similar while going unnoticed?) and that the mechanics required to fully use the mouse haven't been implemented yet (hence the use of a controller, and controller like movements).

 

I dunno. At the end of the day none of this means anything anyway, and we're still just stuck here waiting. But I thought it was worth a share. lol

Like I said, R* has removed quite a few videos due to the usage of their copyrighted radio. I don't think you can remove leaks on copyright claims however. I think we've pretty much summed up that yeah, its a fake, nothing more nothing less.

Nope, Rockstar Games is a development company, they make the games. Take 2 Interactive is a Publishing Company, they own the labels. :)

It's like how DICE make the Battlefield games, but EA publishes them.

 

That's more likely something to do with the new changes to YouTube policy, thanks google, real good job there.

There are some legitimate youTuber's who make videos as a job, it pays them. And they are getting false copyright claims from Valve. But Valve commented saying it wasn't them.

So I wouldn't trust anything on youTube right now unless it's sourced from Rockstar's page :)

Speculation.

 

GFWL Marketplace is being shut down this year to make room for the new Windows Store which is a universal link between windows 8 and xbox one.

It's unknown whether or not the platform is going as well, but most people are shifting to steamworks anyway to be safe.

they "THINK" it will occur 1st July this year, but Microsoft haven't officially commented on it.
