people annoying the police

You said you hate people who annoy cops for trivial things. I said I hate cops who annoy people for trivial things.

Again, police reports being associated with you is a bad thing to an employer. If you were hiring someone, would you hire the guy who was looked at as a potential suspect or the guy who has never had a run in with the police?

And the analogy blew past you once again. You're saying that because I play LCPDFR, I must like all cops. With that logic, anyone who plays GTA must like people who go on shooting sprees and commit terrorism.

again your throwing a fit about a police report if the police report is good your fine if its not you should be worrying how many times do i have to say that. How well do you listen

  • those police haters are just kind of stupid, they have to understand that there are a lot of good cops   I'm sure that the first thing they do when they got robbed is to pick up the phone and call t

  • Please point out one time, just once, where I said I was in favor of abolishing all police. Please do so. I'm begging you. Gamerdanger couldn't handle having it pointed out that no cop is a demigod,

I listen fine. But last I checked, I am reading this.

And you didn't answer my question. Would you rather hire a former suspect or a squeaky clean guy if you were an employer? That is the issue with a name being in a police report.

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.

it depends on what the police report is if it was a good saying you were a witness i would hire you if it was bad i wouldnt ok

ok a good police report is something like you witnessed a assault or you helped the police with something anything else you want to know

it depends on what the police report is if it was a good saying you were a witness i would hire you if it was bad i wouldnt ok

What if it is my example? One is investigated for a crime, but charges are dropped. Do you hire him or the squeaky clean guy?

it depends on the type of crime and sorry if i dont respond to your comments fast i have severe storms going by and my internet keeps going off

So if I was investigated for murder, but nothing came up, would you still hire me?

no

And that is the problem with my name being in a police report. It victimizes innocent people by causing increased discrimination when trying to find a job, which is hard enough in today's economy with no criminal record.

Again, simply having a name in a majority of police reports, not being charged or ruled guilty, is a drastic reduction in employment opportunity.

And please point out where I said I hate all cops. Please do so. I'm begging you. Until then, you have no right to call me insane when you are seeing things that aren't even there.

he is insane because he is hating the brave men and women who risk their lives for him that is how

Again, where did I say I hate all cops? I hate pigs. To the uninformed, a pig is someone who abuses their authority, most commonly in violating constitutional rights and arresting people for stupid reasons.

But saying pigs doesn't mean all cops. I could say I hate Jihadists, but that doesn't mean I hate all Muslims.

Point of order: I'm pretty sure non-governmental jobs can't see if you're in a police report or not. Arrests that lead to charges are obviously public info unless expunged (as court records tend to be public), but I'm under the impression you can get an arrest record expunged unless you were convicted, and then you'd only need to disclose it if you want a government job or a security clearance. I may be totally off on this one, though.

I find it very annoying when police annoy me for little reason. And about people recording cops, if the cops have nothing to hide, they shouldn't worry, especially since they are government employees.

Same here.....

I've seen people get pulled over by police, and then the officer sits in his Cruiser for long enough, before he walks up to their window.

And same as filming, if they have nothing to hide, they shouldn't worry. Though here, filming someone either without them knowing or without their consent can be considered a right to privacy violation.

I think is just plain rude. They have a job to do, you harassing them stops them from doing that job. These men and women put theirs lives on the line to make sure you have a safe life, and they need to be respected. OF COURSE there are still bad cops but thats another thing

agreed try to tell that to c13

Just gotta add here: c13 has some logical statements.

And I say that as a person who is rather pro-state and trying to work in that sector. And probably may eventually. The thing is: Black or White hardly exists. Maybe in the minds of people, but in reality or practice it is usually more dynamic or grey.

In the end, there are, excuse the language, "assholes" everywhere, and some might wear a uniform or badge. I really can't speak for the US but here (Europe, Germany) people should not forget that the job itself is a tough one. And people can change over time. It simply is a fact that "excessive force" is in the media here from time to time, and I don't mean the sometimes or often exaggerated reports by, for example, far left of far right groups who tend to "victimize" themselves. As for the US you can surely find similar examples or even video footage (that got into the news). If one would try to deny that, that may just be like closing the eyes from reality.

Really, I'm neither in favor of "ACAB" nor "Kiss ass". Both of these are wrong in my opinion. Society requires police and other things to function, on the other hand, a potential "Kiss ass mentality" may just lead to a bad outcome. Do note that I picked two extreme sides here just to get a point across more easily. I respect the work of the police and similar agencies, but they're also just people, not saints who can never be wrong.
