American Truck Simulator By SCS Software!?

Featured Replies

Well, I got bored and I looked up "American Truck Simulator" on Google, then this popped up! It says "Please note that this page was set up to park the domain for future use, not to confirm that the game is actually already in production!" But It gives us a bit of hope for the American version of the famous(ish) version of the game Euro Truck Sim 2, I really hope for it!

It's definitely in production, or so we hope. There's also rumours of a "World Truck Simulator", which would be awesome. I'd love to be trucking in an Oversize Load down here in Aus!

18 Wheels of Steel: Extreme Trucker2 does let you do hauls in the down under!

However, I wonder if this game would be similar to the original 18 Wheels of Steel: Pedal to the Metal?

As I loved that game with a passion :D

The closest thing you can get to "World Trucking Simulator" that's released, 18 Wheels Of Steel Extreme Trucking 2 is your game! (Hint: You get over-sized loads in Aus :D)

Maybe. But with awesome graphics and maybe realistically large cities?

It's work in progress. If I'm not mistaken these two pictures, or ar least the trucks, belong to the new game, which is being made by the authors of Euro Truck Simulator. I hope we have more info soon, I'd be very excited to have a trucking game back in 'murica and with good graphics and enviroment design; if something bothered me in older games like 18 WoS was the dullness of the scenery.

If I remember good, there was some info posted on blog of SCS saying that we'll get to know about three projects which are in plans for nearest future: Coach sim based on ETS2, American TS and sth called World Of Trucks (hell knows what we can expect from that but the title is promising :D)
