Is there anyway to change it?

Wasn't this already brought up before? But anyways, no there isn't a way. I've been digging through data files for a while and have seen ones that almost look like they change weapons but.... they don't.

What would you want to change?

Here's an idea, the cops at central park use m4 how did they get them ? Noose use the pump action shotgun, there must be some way of doing this ?

Yep, it must be regulated somewhere. Maybe Sniper knows more about this, after all he's managed to make an Unarmed Cops mod.

No clue either, that mod just gets all cops in an array and deletes their weapons at set intervals. I have been looking for the file that controls weapon selection for AI for a while.

Seems like it must be hard coded somewhere rather than in a data file... Like I said, I've had as much luck as Sniper trying to find the damn thing.

I'm pretty sure that peds dont actually carry any weapons on them like the player does. I think the way it works is that when an event is triggered, such as the player shooting in the area, certain peds will react to it by pulling out weapons and the weapons that they use are therefore hard-coded in the game.

Hoping this wouldn't be the case but I guess I knew it would end up being that way.
