In my honest opinion, it basically looks like Android version 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Some of the new features of iOS7 have been available on Android for a quite a while now and aren't really innovative in the sense of the mobile-phone world. I'm not trying to be bashing Apple by any chance, or appearing to be bias against them, but that's my opinion. I do credit Apple for updating their OS to a more modern, sleek, and "minimalistic" ui though, it looks beautiful.

Meh, it's hideous. I'd stick to the previous iOS theme. I hope the fix the Street View, at least... I still have the version which had the working Street View in the iTouch so I haven't updated it in a while and seeing that new update I don't think I will be upgrading it...

Agreed! But if you use it personally as I am right now, you can see how it's different then Android, My favorite new feature is the new feature where you can have more than 16 apps in one folder, I also like Apple's radio feature inside the music app

I personally like it, with live wallpapers and 3D home screen and everything else they have put in it, I call it the most advanced OS I've ever seen!

your kidding me, I haven't even updated to IOS 6 yet

Cant tell if insulting iOS or just didn't keep up with tech news :I

Not to slide off topic, but I was too consumed by the new Mac and didn't pay much attention to iOS 7. That said, after reviewing it and OSX Mavericks (stupid name) I like quite a few things they have done. I like the minimalism as well, the "flat" look. I really think it was time for a drastic visual overhaul for iOS as it's been pretty much the same since the beginning. I like the new multitasking setup, and i've been begging for the radio forever. One thing missing, I think they need to add a wishlist (sync) to the stores.

If you payed attention to Apple's World Wide developer's conference, the past couple of days, you would have saw iOS 7 and OSx Mavericks announced, if you did see it, what did you think of it, did you like it? Wanna see what it looks like? http://www.apple.com/ios/ios7/

My god, did someone already pick up a "lost" iPhone prototype and root it so they could put Android on it? Because that's what this looks like. A lot. lol @ Steve Jobs saying he wanted to go thermonuclear on Android before he died, and look what iOS is trying to be now. He's rolling his grave while Bill Gates and Eric Schmidt are laughing.

Pfft. It looks like a fan.

I'm a big fan of good design (coming from an engineering background) and to see the way it was packaged when they removed the cover was what captivated me. I admit it is a bit of a strange design direction. Different for the sake of being different.

As for iOS, I liked the android OS on its surface but HATED the way it functioned with a passion. Now, I have the best of both worlds. A modern glossy surface with intuitive functionality underneath (and a few neat tricks thrown in). I don't complain about or praise android or iOS because of their flaws or features because as competition they benefit each other. So personally, I think iOS has been a long time coming and I welcome it's changes. At the end of the day they are all just cell phones.

Looks like a trashcan though. :/

I have iOS 7 on my phone and it's amazing. The only problem is that the colors of the icons on the home screen are kind of too bright/too high contrast. The battery also drains faster.
