Yeah in SA you could do that and in IV you could go into the computer and such. So i guess that's possible but not to join the police.

I doubt we'll lose 70,000 + members just because we couldn't release an update to a FREE modification before GTA V was released.

 

Besides, there's no decent policing sidemission in V (that we know of), so people will come back to IV to play LCPDFR until we (if its possible) port it to V.

+GTA V is not announced yet on PC. Some of us are only PC gamers.

+Even if GTA IV is boring, if we enjoy LCPDFR we'll still play to it.

+We can be bored for some weeks or months but we won't disappear for eternity.

+RC2 is fine, it's not a big deal if we haven't RC3 fast. "Release it when it's ready" is the best way.

+Secondary scripts or tools still enhance and increase the gameplay.

If this was real, I think the bigger PC gaming sites would already have written news about it. After researching I found information about it on some dubious internet site, it says:

 

"This claim was seen in Romania when a retailer said that GTA 5 was coming to the PC"

 

My thoughts: Romania.... hmn.... must be legit.

 

Don't believe anything the internet says. I'm not getting my hopes up unless R*, a big PC magazine or Amazon confirms anything.

I read the same thing last night, just google it, you'll see it in the top three-four results.  The idea is that they plan on releasing the PC version at the same time it comes out for the latest generation of consoles.

 

True or not...we'll see.  Makes sense though.

 

I think I seen that in a Huffington Post article...not sure, was doing a lot of reading last night.

There's nothing about it on big serious gaming websites, and more important, nothing on Rockstar official websites.

It's just a rumor/prediction because before the previous GTA were released on PC about 6~9 months after consoles.

 

So, NO, the game is NOT announced to release on PC yet. edit : not officially I mean !

No shit. I used google befor.. the only thing i can find is "leaked information" and rumors. And maybe i'm not good at using google but i can't find a single trustworthy Gaming Website confirming this rumor...

Yea, just rumors on a few sites.  The only official word I've seen from Dan Howser (sp?) that it's a "consideration".  Not a very heart warming response, although can't imagine any GTA series would not be available for PC...that's it's home for sh*t sakes.

 

R* should give a little more love to the PC gamers, which without us, there would have been no Rockstar Games.

Okay guys... open you eyes! This is GTA V, which is a gang game. There might be little side missions just like IV had with the police laptop. Just wait until sapd:fr comes out for it!

Yeah, I just checked. Nothing on the official R* pages. They say they want to deliver the best quality on consoles. PC is not a priority right now.

I honestly don't see why there is a major shitstorm that people are trying to cause because there currently is no information regarding a PC version. I've got a 360 and I plan to play V on it.

 

Yeah, people may say "I don't have a console, only PC". That's your own decision, I really wanted to play Heavy Rain and The Last of Us but I didn't get a PS3 because of it, when and IF it comes out for PC, whats to stop Rockstar from making it difficult to modify game files like they attempted with IV?

 

I'm not fussed about not having a PC version, sure, I'd like to use real world vehicles and eventually play as a cop but ONLY once I've run the game of all it has to offer which I expect will be a few months after its release.
