I dont know if anyone has seen this yet but there is a  new sheriff swat suv im guessing and the old vapid cruiser is still in for the sheriff! Im so excited that its still in i kinda wish they would have left it with the old lightbar to have some variety but time will tell...

The cop car in the first screenshot has got a vapid badge, and the LSSD cruiser looks like a vapid as well. Awesome!

 

However, I find it a bit strange that in these screenshots, the red and blue parts of the lights are exactly the other way round from the trailer.

You can see the red light being on the driver's side of the car, while both the LSPD and LSSD cars here spot a blue light on the driver's side.

Same thing happened in San Andreas bro.

 

Plus, the plate would correspond to where the car spawned.

 

For example, if a car spawned in LV, "Las Venturas" would appear just above the actual letters, was pretty nice although I doubt V will have something similar :(

Can't wait for this to! Awesome that Rockstar Games cares about the feedback we send in. In the Micheal, Franklin and Trevor trailers it looks like the LED's are very hard to see in daylight. Bud, this cannot be a problem for us, i mean, i think our mod community will figure out how to make them more "visible" during daylight.

What two sedans do you mean? If you are talking about the sedan in the pictures I quoted and the one in the screenshot from the trailer, I'm quite sure they are two different models. I just took it as an example for the different light setup. In reality, LAPD has the same lightbar on all their cars as far as I know, so I don't think it will be different in GTA V.

But about the two sedans in my screenshots, I'm quite sure that they are both the vapid. The LSPD one has the vapid badge, and the LSSD one looks a lot like it too. For example, they have identical rearview mirrors.

I love the new cars - but it would be nice if we could have one of the junky vapids from the first trailer (with the halogen MX7000) somewhere in the game, like parked at an old warehouse for example. I'm starting to miss them ;(

A storage warehouse would be an interesting idea. Are there any police vehicle museums in L.A. (L.S.) which would be a better spawning location?

I'd like to pre-order this but i don't think my PC will meet even 60% of what the Minimum requirements are.

Problem is in LA Noire, those were real cars. I don't think that'll fly with this game. However, there was that "Aston Martin DB5" lookalike, and they're saying this has the most cars of any GTA game previous...

 

I might not have seen it here, but was there any mention at all about this on PC anywhere?

The game is still not announced for PC. Some gaming sites are saying it's possible for a later release, like GTA IV, but others are saying that it's unlikely due to pirating.

"Because of piracy" would be the stupidest reason to cut PC out of the platforms.

 

Yes, people will pirate it (some of those will end up buying it afterwards), but you cut out a lot of purchasers that won't buy it on any other platform, or would buy for both. So, in the end, they hurt themselves more by not releasing a PC version.
