yeah I know people are going to say respected modeler blah,blah blah but let's be real he didn't scratch make the car and both nfs and gta communities could have easily worked together and just respect the modelers work

 

I try to keep quiet, but this time I cannot when you are saying my model is stolen. You have no idea what the mesh looks like, nor any proof. My vehicle is an edit of the Ford Taurus from Need For Speed Hot Pursuit. Yes, the hood, bumpers, headlights were created from scratch, by me and the taillights and trunk from humster3d(which I could have created myself). Here is my proof:

You can easily tell they are no where near the same as mine has more polygons. The exterior on my Utillity on the other hand is from SIMs made by freshprincecreations as stated in the credits. I have made plenty of shit that I have released to lcpdfr unlocked that shows that I am capable of creating those things above.

 

I will refrain from taking this any further to prevent a flame war.

Guys, I'm sorry to spark all this argument, but I was simply telling LtChuck that their model has a lightbar. I'm sure there will be better models soon, but currently (as far as I know) only theirs has a lightbar. I don't like using their mods either, for all the reasons that have been posted above, but some may feel they are viable options until a decent, original Explorer is released.

 

No, actually its good you sparked it. It was necessary to let the people acknowledge the truth.

As for using his mods, I'm sure most people will continue to ignore this discussion and others' hardwork. All they care is about getting the car(s) in-game. Thats what puts me and other hard-working modders like Kevin to shame. And yes, I'm speaking for them too.

@evi i am by no way disputing your talent, you .def. have the skill to produce quality work its when Modders decide to take short cuts by using the work of others against there wishes that bothers me the images you posted here do not show me that they are not from the db model what it shows me is that you were able to fix a few problem areas that db's model had due to the poly restrictions of nfs now again I'm not trying to discredit you because you have more than earned you rep.as a skilled modder and I will end my words here i am now slipping back into the shadows you will not hear from me again no flame war from me

 

Please use grammar in your sentences. Its so confusing that I cannot make out not one thing of what you're trying to say...

A few problem areas? According to your theory, apparently, I "fixed"(added) more than 100,000 polys to a model that isn't even 30,000 polys. My model is way more high poly than that model you have posted. Dude, you came here claiming I have stolen this model. Anybody can clearly see they are no way the same model.

Ok last thing :

my main point is that you have the unlocked car in your possession ,that is how your able to post comparison pictures , logic would say if you have the model you would probably use it/parts to save some time.

A thief you are NOT, I just think you borrowed some parts to get the car out quicker. Just would have been simpler to ask db for the parts or the entire car and give him credit .

This is really an argument that he should have though, and he decided to just quit after his issue with alec durbin .

I DO NOT want anyone to call you a thief I want that made clear ,and I am not calling you a thief. Lets be real when you take a car from one game to use it in another you are using a short cut . Technically everyone is stealing it so nobody is completely innocent. So what I'm saying is lets leave it there and I'll even go so far as to say let's just put this behind us and the moderators can clean up the thread and feel free to delete all the wish to delete

 

the unlocked model that EVI has is not db model, that the 2011 taraus from need for speed hot pursuit.

the pics evi got of the poly lines of db model are from open-iv which allows you to view poly lines of model.

EVI's model is comprised of nothing more then the unlocked need for speed model and his scratch made parts.

the fact that EVI car model is a lot more high poly is a simple indicator that they're no where near the same model or have the same poly lines

but whatever this conversation is getting old, BPM steals other peoples models as well as people from sa who stay stealing other peoples models from different game.

were all aware of this now and we can all just move forward and drop the case.

BPM got his models from Casey whis were originally Dodgeboys.   (he said to me on MSN that his Explorer is from 2012 NfS MW)

I didnt used Dodgeboys Explorer because I got mine out of the 2012 NfS MW.

 

(I will compare the explorers)

i gave away my 2013 explorer model on here in the content modification section made from xshooter (for me) that i paid 25 bucks for from him

I'm not linking you to that (BPM is a *notorious* mod thief, and as a result, one of the more hated modders). However, here is an Explorer with a Liberty lightbar released by UndercoverChicken, who *does* have permission and *didn't* steal the model.
