So I recently stumbeled upon random lags. These occur when:

-Many Units participate in a pursuit (3-4)

-When many Units are called to shootouts (3-4)

-Or random short lags when driving or on foot

 

I found out that many other people had this issue a while ago but they havent found any fixes.

I dont use any car mods that replace default vehicles. I only have one car pack installed that I sometimes use (LC Car Pack) That adds various emergency vehicles from GTA IV. Ped packs I use are mostly RDE Peds because I like the variations. I dont have RDE vehicles installed tho.

I am running on:

Windows 11 Home,

RTX 2060,

Intel(R) Core(TM) I5-10400F CPU 2.90Ghz, 2904 MHz, 6 Cores

16 GB RAM

 

 I removed the RDE vehicles because they replaced original cars that I like and because they were causing the ERR_MEM_EMBEDDEDALLOC_GUARD_5

My Heap Adjuster value is 1250.

Any help to resolve the lag issue would be apreciated.

 

If your game is from EPIC, you should shut down epicGameLauncher after you are totally in story-mode. You  use Task-manager for that. Then shut down task-manager too

@GTAbearMy game is from Steam. Is there some other fix?

Do you have a packfile limit adjuster?  I have my packfile at 7344.  I don't see a heap adjuster setting in my main folder.  So I'm not sure where you see heap adjuster at 1250. 

You can download Heap Limit adjuster with an ini file to configure it. And yes I have packfile limit adjuster.

Just head to gta5-mods.com, they have a heap adjuster ini you can get. I have my packfile at 22032 which is 2 times the archive count after I replaced the gameconfig with the 2699 i downloaded from 5mods as well. I think windows 11 could also be the problem too.
