Does anyone have any recommendations for games?

I have some extra money thanks to x-mas and all that stuff.

 

What games do you recommend I buy? I got a PC for x-mas so I got the system to run em!

 

Currently looking at:

 

LA Noire

Arma 2 CO

GTA SA

GTAEFLC

Starwars Battlefront II

 

Released in 2005, its still awesome. You don't even have to like the movies.

 

Its currently on sale on steam for about £3

Spec-Ops: the line is a very good third person cover shooter, but it's so much more than that. It feels like a generic cover shooter for a while until the story properly evolves. It's a shooter for "grown-ups", it's a serious game designed to provoke some thought.

 

Company of Heroes is a very, very good RTS game focused on the invasion of Normandy.

 

FTL: Faster than light is a turn based strategy game, it's high paced and very addicting.

 

Hotline Miami's a fantastic puzzle shooter, I'm only at the fourth chapter in it, but damn that game is fun.

 LA Noire is a great police game if you like lcpdfr you will love LA Norie.

^ True that, L.A. Noire is a damn epic game, so is ARMA 2 with all its RPG mods :) And ofc other mods too. On the Steam's sale I actually bought Alan Wake, Alan Wake American's Nightmare, Dead Island GOTY, Test Drive Unlimited 2 and Driver San Francisco. They are pretty damn nice games too :)

LA Noire is a nice police game, but it was a bit too slow for me.

I like ArmA 2 personally, because I'm a big military sim guy and that game just takes the cake on that front. Really, it depends on what your interests are...

I recommend "Sleeping Dogs"

Arma 2 CO sooooo much fun i dont paly dayz on it but i do do the multiplayer games they are a lot of fun!

It's gotta be Far Cry 3, the acting in it (mostly from Micheal Mando as Vaas) is unbelievable.

Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 is a GREAT shooter. You can command your 2 AI's to do multiple things such as clearing rooms,throwing smoke grenades,ect.

L.A Noire is an amazing game by the way. 

Saints Row: The Third - Complete Package

 

Its around £6 on steam at the moment, easily one of the best CO-OP games I've ever played.
