I'm waiting until it's released. I'm afraid it's a overhyped game and will fail to live up to your expectations. I will wait until it's released, read a couple of reviews, watch some gameplay that hasn't been edited and altered by Ubisoft. Then I will make up my mind.

tmusson21 reacted to CyberGhost in New Dispatch ProgramHey guys so with LCPDFR 1.0 having been released I have been able to do some looking around about compiling a New Dispatch Program together. I am currently working on it as we speak. This new program will be able to have a interface with 1.0 Call Outs and have it in the Call Board. For those that have been working on New API Call Out's they will now be placed inside it. As of now it's outside of game. But as I keep getting more new info it will then be placed in game. Here is some pictures for you. Please let me know if you would like to see anything inside it or not. Thanks

tmusson21 reacted to EvilJackCarver in Fix for challenged paramedics.I dunno, they're kind of funny how they mow down 5 people just to save one. THAT'S dedication.

tmusson21 reacted to elcop in Fix for challenged paramedics. We all know about the paramedics. Has your partner ever been killed, or even a regular officer? You try to ALT+E, an ambulance resists to come, you CTRL+M, and an ambulance comes. The ambulance driver will often just pass right by you, or even go out of his way to run you over, possibly killing you.
Often times, the medic that gets out will come out, find some random injured civilian next to your officer down, try helping the civilian, then will proceed to get back in the ambulance and leave people untreated. (The problem with getting run over by friendlies happens with cops too...) Often times the driver just kills off injured people by running them over. Often times they'll just run away for no reason and clog traffic with an ambulance. We should have a script by default to lead medics to the injured body only we can magically see. Also needs AI Hotfix for going too fast and hitting players.

tmusson21 reacted to avsports23 in View Past Crime History - Add RealismJust an idea. If when we pulled someone over, or stopped someone on the street, when we run their ID we can see their past crimes. Yeah, I know it can't be saved on each person so if you would run the same person twice, their history would be different. But if you just run them once it could be a cool feature, and probably not too hard to add.
Example. If you see a vehicle pull into a suspicious parking lot near a building, you can go talk to the driver, run his ID, let's say he's active, no warrants, valid license, BUT, in his past, he has multiple B&E's - you would then, well, be careful? Do more checks on the building to make sure he's not breaking in or anything.
Most people would probably have nothing on their record, but I think it's a cool idea and would add realism. Maybe you stop someone on a minor traffic violation and they have 30 previous traffic violations for different things. You can see a list of all of them and what they are, which can help in making a decision whether to ticket them or not.
Hope this make sense, give me feedback, let me know if anyone else thinks it's a good idea.

Timecyc.dat
-Lowers the ingame view distance to help run GTA IV better!
Commandline.txt
-A mixture of commands to help GTA IV run faster!
Contig.exe
-A program that basicly compresses your GTA IV directory so your computer can handle it better!
Let's review my POS Laptop!
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Processor: AMD E-300 APU 1.3ghz
Graphics Card: Radeon HD 6310

2) Open your GTA IV directory & the .RAR file
3) Extract the everything from the .RAR file to your directory.
4) Open up "Commandline.txt" find "-width" Make it any resoultion your desktop supports (1024, 1280, 1366, ETC.)
5) Open up "Commandline.txt" find "-height" Make it any resoultion your desktop DOES NOT support (679, 700, 836, ETC.)
6) Right click on "Contig.exe" and click "Send To Desktop"
7) Right click the Contig shortcut in your desktop, Select Properties.

Alrighty. Firstly, let me apologize for my lack of activity in the past week. I, like many others, was swamped with holiday stuff and I'm also planning a big move to another province, so I've been a little distracted. At the moment I'm writing this from an ipad, so I'm not going to be able to respond to each individual post as I usually do- just know that I have read them all and I'm keeping track of what issues are being reported.
Secondly, thank you to everytone who is providing feedback and huge thanks to those who are sending in logs. The issues I'm seeing tend to be the same for the most part (call to object that doesnt exist anymore), and I think I know what's causing it. So, with that in mind, I have a bit of good news, some better news, and some bad news.
The bad news, is that my computer crashed. It's either the mobo or the PSU, but one of them is shot and I haven't had time to figure out exactly which it is, yet. As mentioned before I'm moving shortly so I won't be able to order in new parts/repair them until sometime between mid January and late February. Unfortunately this means that I wont be able to work on the code until that time(unless I can throw together something that'll let me write code, but I'll have to get friends to test it.. perhaps I should look at a testing group in the future), so progress on bugfixes is on hold for a month or so. As soon as I get back up and running I'll be working on fixing these bugs and finishing up the next set of calls, so expect an update sometime next month or in February. Sorry guys.
The good news, is that I was working on the code and may have come up with some solutions to the massive number of bugs introduced in 1.1, so hopefully the majority of the bugs have already been fixed and I only have a few more to tweak(I wasn't able to test before the system went down). Like I said, I'm making note of everyone that posts here and on the mod itself, so your problems are reaching me and I assure you I will do whatever I can to fix them as soon as I am able.
The better news, is that I'm 99% positive that whatever issue is plaguing my PC hasn't affected the hard drive. The machine simply wont turn on, which leads me to believe it's either the PSU or the mobo. It was shut down properly last I used it, and the next morning it wouldn't boot or do anything at all, so I'm operating on the assumption that the data on the harddrive is still good. Even if it isn't, I've got backups on google drive and dropbox, as well as on a flash drive so I haven't lost any of the code and development can continue asap.
Beyond that, I'm excited to see LCPDFR 1.0 is now released, however I'm a tad bit disappointed my computer is dead and therefore I won't be using it for a while. Once I'm back up and release 1.2, I'm going to tinker with 1.0 and see how it works as well as if the API is working. If so, I may be rewriting some of vpCallouts to behave better with LCPDFR, so that's something to look forward to as well.
Once again I'm sorry for the lack of activity and that my computer decided to die. I hope to get it fixed once I've moved and resume development as soon as I can.
Thanks once more for the feedback and bug reports, guys! It's still nice to know people appreciate my work and it's super helpful having error logs to pinpoint specific crashes.

I did like the coffee thing in .95, though. Just sit there drinking coffee while waiting for a callout. Also, there is no CPR.

Hello LCPDFR forum :D
So I started messing with the API, figured it had to be worth a shot, it's massively work in progress because I only started last night.
I present to you...
Callouts+ (or CalloutsPlus) is an API script which does as the name suggests, adds more callouts to lcpdfr. You read that correctly, another lcpdfr callouts script, but you also read that it will be using the API! The mod itself will contain a few variants of different well known LCPDFR callout features, such as stolen vehicles and pursuits, things which may not add a huge amount to the game but add some more variation and thus better roleplay.
I also intend to add some new callouts and progress the mod into as much as it can be (given my level of programming skill of course).
Special thanks to Tom H for the banner :)
Current Features (please note these can change, for an official list of released callouts see the download page (link below))
Murder Callout Street Racing Callout Manhunt Callout Stolen Police Cruiser Callout Breakdown Callout Dynamic Road Traffic Collisions Officer Down Callout Tracker Theft Callout Some bonus content
Ability to fix some vehicles Ability to try and revive a fallen pedestrian Call in a less reckless paramedic (who actually examines peds) Call in a removal cop who takes away an abandoned vehicle for you Call in a tow truck Place useful police barriers Run a vehicle check Some Screenshots Of Progress

Your Suggestions
Post your ideas below and I will add them here, don't be disappointed if your idea doesn't get added to the game, chances are I will have spent hours attempting to make your idea work, but I may not have succeeded.
• Bank Robbery/ Large scale situations
• Bomb threats / Acts of terrorism
• Escaped prisoners
• Riots and protests
• Be part of a roadblock
• Domestic Disputes
• Location Theft (people holding up a store at gunpoint etc)
• Arson / Other Fire Events (if possible)
• Foot Pursuit Callouts
• Extra Dynamics of callouts - Not everyone is a criminal (Medical Aid, Missing Persons, Suspicious Activity etc)

tmusson21 reacted to CrossFire in LCPDFR 1.0, 100,000 Members, GTA V and moreI do not under any circumstances understand why their is such a high demand for 1.0, I understand all of these cool features, but if you all keep asking for 1.0, the devs will feel rushed and release something that isn't that great. So unless you want a "not-so-great" version of LCPDFR, please stop asking when it will be released.

tmusson21 reacted to Harper in Really, 13 year old died Because....From what I understand, the kid refused to drop the weapon after multiple requests from deputies although it is common sense to drop whatever firearm you are carrying, even if its an imitation and raise your hands to show the officers that you aren't attempting to put their lives in danger through your actions.
If I was playing paintball with some friends in a wooded area and some cops come roaring up to us, first thing I'd do is drop the guns to show I mean no malicious intent with them, no matter how real or fake they look.
The gun looks exactly like an AK-47. It looks like he removed the orange tips that are required on airsoft guns so until someone gets close and looks at it, they wouldn't know it was a fake gun.
Most of you may well jump onto the "Well, the police shouldn't shoot first and ask questions later" bandwagon but please try to put yourselves in the shoes of the officer as he arrived on scene, he has no further details other than someone with a possible automatic firearm and has no idea whether its loaded or not. Whats even more concerning is that they asked him multiple times to put it down but he seemingly refused.
Now, with those facts in mind, if you were the officer and you had to make a split second decision whether to ask him a final time and possibly die or eliminate the threat as quickly and safely as possible?
Please don't take this as literal evidence to shoot a child, I've only just heard of this and I'm reading into it. Will update my post accordingly

tmusson21 reacted to K-9 police 9 in 9-11-01 never forgetOffense taken
its a kinda holiday outta respect for 1st responders in addition to all those who lost their lives that day in addition its a Nation Holiday / day of remembrance and service
2n d if your gonna go there then lets go here you could say the same about America's National Memorial day may 31sy for the military and bringing up the past and present conflicts but every1 would bitch their asses off about it and be up in arm's and say how dare we etc etc
so no we won't get over / let it go esp those of us who are 1st responder's and those of US who were directly and indirectly affected its still just as bitter and still is raw and hurts like it was yesterday and if you weren't then its extremely hard for you to understand
Time does not heal all wounds forget whoever said that
Well guess what its no different for 1st responder's while the military is the front line over sea's, First responder's are the one's who fight the the fight on the homeland/ front lines ( thin blue line , thin red line, etc ) 1st responders are the one's who protect and guard you as you go about your daily life and some are vol. and make sure you get from poimt A to B
So tech its a daily war on America's street with 1st responders doing their damnest to keep every1 safe
3nd if you wanna get real tech about it here in America
cops and firefighter's death's are for the most part ignore d / brushed over barley reported on by the media in today's world reported for 1 - 2 days and that's it
all the while those of us who are 1st responders go to the funerals and bear and see the grief 1st hand
and people go around tooting I hate cops, firefighter destroyed my home etc etc etc rarely do American people stop and say thank you to police and Fire and paramedics
as opposed to the opposite where every1 goes around saying I love the military ( I've seen some act like their gods) when in reality its 1st responders really the one's keeping you safe as you go from point A to point B in your daily life
But the media plays up military death's / funeral's and home coming's
so blame the media
Now back to the topic at hand and remembering 9/11/01
1 more thing if your gonna hate / bash keep moving this thread is def not the place to do it in if you do it can be looked at / will be look at as disrespectful
