Well these apartments are actually from GTA Online.

Yes but the only way to access them is by loading LSPDFR. Otherwise they have no interiors or any other functions.

  • Just an update, @LMS has identified the issue in RAGE Plugin Hook and a fix is being tested and will be released when it's ready.

  • Most likely bundled within LSPDFR. I expect to push the fix later today.

You can access these interiors by other scripts, or manually loading DLC maps, and teleporting into. TV functions are vanilla; but green juice, shower, closet, smoking, drink, sleeping are reimplemented by LSPDFR (they are LSPDFR features), so you can also write your own script/plugin to do these.

Supporting is somewhat like locating an issue, then trying to apply a protocol that would eventually guide the subject to fix their game, and sometimes, on rare occasions, trying to diagnose a weird issue with everything you know.

So you're suggesting this might be an issue with Rockstar DLC maps. That makes sense, I will do some research on it and test it out later.

I'll post here again if I found something relevant.

Update:

This crash occurs only with LSPDFR running.

The DLC map interiors used by LSPDFR does not cause the game to crash; I tried to restore the previous DLC map patchs and the game still crashes.

After unload LSPDFR plugin, I was able to free roaming around the crash locations with no crashes, with all the other mods installed, as well as the latest DLC update.

I've not had a chance to test this, but based on the troubleshooting everyone else has done I'm assuming it's an LSPDFR bug. Perhaps something has been changed or deleted around apartments or maybe a hook or pattern has failed.

I'm not too familiar with the apartment system, so even if I have a chance to look at this I'm unlikely to fix it quickly.

With the festive season there is probably going to be a delay around fixing this if it's an LSPDFR bug. I can only speak for myself but I will have probably no free time in the coming days, the situation is probably similar with the rest of the development team. Sorry about that.

Thanks For Responding!

Hate to be another crash reporter but I'm actually having this problem to.  I did install the Dec.19 update but still crashes.  For me i can't even get into the game.  When it zooms into your safe-house it crashes.  I tried a few things including the popular, rename or remove the mods folder but same problem.

For now the only way to avoid this crash is to set your character's spawn location as "Police Station," instead of "Apartments." And avoid patrolling around those "Crash Zones."

This is the best way to play LSPDFR for now, until a fix is released.

Yes, you might also try changing your apartment to one far away from where you intend to patrol. For example, I set mine to the Grapeseed apartment while I play in Los Santos.

Hi people,

I played a few hours with the new version of LSPDFR and recently I noticed that I've the same problem you have. I see that this happens with the apartment of Spanish Ave, I've not tried with the other apartments, but I suppose that the error will be there too.

I am going to explain a little detail that I noticed... maybe doesn't mean nothing, but here I go. I have made some try and retry proves and I noticed that when I exit the apartment or I arrive to the around area, the game doesn't crash until I move the camera to the player's car. Maybe sounds weird, but I tried various times and it is always the same. If, for example, I exit the apartament and look to the left, the game works, but if I look right the game crashes just in the moment that the parked car is going to appear in the camera.

I know that maybe sounds ridiculous, but can be that there are some tipe of error or conflict with the saved car and the updated LSPDFR/RPH??

There is a little prove about that; in the image my character is at the front of the apartment of Spanish Ave, looking at the East; you can rotate the camera and walk always that you don't look at the car; if you move the camera to the car, the game crashes.

Thanks for sharing this. I have noticed the exact same detail and can assure this to be true, at lease in my case with the Spanish Ave apt.

I did start a separate thread mentioning this, but any help would be appreciated.

I don't know if this has any rellevance... but it is strange, for sure.

Following the instructions of some of you, I changed the position of the player's apartment, moving it to Grapeseed, so I could move around Los Santos without crashing the game. I decided to drive around the apartment of Spanish Ave, to verify that any crash appears; the game didn't crash, but for my surprise I found these cars at the front of the building, in the middle of the road 🤨

Should I call Mulder and Scully??

Maybe someone left those vehicles behind from a car show there the way they're positioned.  😄

Ok, I'll try that.  Thanks!

Oh ok, that sounds like a good idea too.  I'll probably just set my spawn to a Police Station so I don't have to teleport to a station.  Unless I want to take a scenic drive on my way to work.  😃

Where do you change the spawn location since I can't get in game.  I thought I was it in a file somewhere but can't find it now.

Hi!

I know you can change it in-game, in the settings options. I think the custom key is M, and then go to "settings" and there you can change the point of respawn (apartment, police station and random) and the player's apartment.  I don't know if there is another way via editing files...

Was that what were you asking?? :S

Yup, that's what I was asking.  Unfortunately, I can't get in game to change that.  Crashes just before going in game.  Thanks anyway!
