thats not true, there's tow truck script mods as well as tow truck mods, so no one can say it's not possible,

just sayin', i know there's tow truck script and vehicle mods because i have both of them..

tell the devs/admin's that, this has already been runned down B4. btw show me a link, I have never ever seen a mod like that for gtaIV. and I'm sure its alot harder than you think to assign that mod to connect with lcpdfr to send the commands to spawn a tow truck and have it actually pickup a car.

lol it looks like a beta since it pops up on the car but ill be damned, someone made one. This should be considered to the devs to see what they think! thanks for the link and video btw, that is good proof that it possibly ( MAYBE ) can be made!

No Problem :) at least now you know it is possible :), but i do know that it is possible too tow a car using Simple Native, but i can't be bothered with all that crap lol, but i'm sure if it can made made by a noob ( which the modder clearly is) then maybe it's possible too perfect it, somehow?

Sorry...Little bit off topic...But there is the tow truck script on gta4-mods.com and in the description, it has the tow truck for IV and TBOGT.

or u could hit a button for pick up and 2 officers would come by in a car and the passenger would come by and get the car and drive it back to the station

Thats an idea, but I think just making the screen blur out and making the car dissapear would be easier.

That's already possible. Just leave your car. To give Jaywalking tickets, just aim at a ped with your baton(bat) and press E. You will be able to arrest or cite him. By only getting close to him/her without aiming and then pressing E, you will open a menu thats lets you Hold or Frisk them.

I suppose that's a good idea. If you find yourself being hit by vehicles often, look for the "less overtaking" mod, when you are doing a traffic stop, vehicles wait behind your car for a minimum of 20 seconds before going round, this means they go around slower and there are less vehicles to drive into you.

I dont know about where you live, but here in Colorado if you are parked somewhere they'll just put their lights on and hold you till they clear ur plate. Same for a motorist assist, i believe.

If they're stopped with their lights on next to me or behind me, im not allowed to leave, is that correct? Or is it just when they have my lic & reg?

Some places, police needs a reason to pull over people, I.E. needs to see them break the law, and being a "suspicious vehicle" wouldn't be breaking any laws.

Another thing to remember, is that there's no ped voice segments for those types of stops.

I like the idea of approaching a vehicle on the passenger side, it's good for officer safety as the officer would be further away from moving vehicles, and it would give us an opportunity to do better traffic stops on vehicles that pulls into the centre reservation when you stop them.

Yeah, I agree being able to approach from whatever side you want would be a very good idea.

Also, How about a gunpoint traffic stop, where you get a callout to a vehicle, then you stop in front or behind it, get out and draw your weapons then arrest the suspect(s)
