It's the older ELS versions. ELS v5 and v6 didn't have any vehicle configuration files, you had to manually get the patterns.

Some people use ELS v5 for it's 1.0.4.0 compatibility.

V6 works on patch 4 too. Why would anyone use V5 over V6? Surely V6 is better.
