pdComp — Police Computer for LSPDFR

A modern, immersive police computer for LSPDFR with deep records-framework integration.

pdComp transforms police roleplay in GTA V with a fully interactive MDT/CAD system featuring a simulated police-computer desktop, draggable applications, persistent records, evidence-aware court systems, and integrated records support. It now works with either Policing Redefined (via CDF) or Stop The Ped as its records backend.

Built from the ground up for immersion, pdComp replaces outdated menu-driven police computers with a realistic in-game operating system complete with:

Rugged police laptop interface
Draggable and resizable windows
Desktop wallpaper and app icons
Window snapping
On-foot patrol tablet
ALPR/BOLO notifications
Standalone ALPR plate reader and speed radar
Persistent criminal justice records
Persistent dark mode

Stop The Ped support — pdComp now reads records from Policing Redefined/CDF or Stop The Ped, selectable with the new `[Integration] Mode` setting (Auto / Cdf / Stp)

Optional UI and alert sounds for a more responsive terminal

Smooth, animated UI — frame-rate-independent easing on hovers, presses, and window open/restore, plus title-bar gradients, window drop shadows, a custom cursor, and pixel-snapped text for crisp rendering at every resolution

Deep Records-Framework Integration

A records integration is required — pdComp has no standalone vanilla mode. Choose your backend with `[Integration] Mode`:

When used with Policing Redefined + CDF, pdComp becomes part of a connected policing ecosystem:

Pulls synchronized suspect and vehicle records directly from PR
Supports evidence-linked arrest reports
Integrates with PR citation workflows
Tracks warrants, suspended licenses, insurance status, registrations, permits, and more
Uses tested evidence and relevance checks in court outcomes

When used with Stop The Ped, pdComp combines LSPDFR persona/vehicle data with STP's:

Document-status API (license, registration, insurance)
Alcohol-over-limit and drug-influence advisories
Contraband/evidence search results, importable as current-call evidence

pdComp v0.3.0 — Stop The Ped, ALPR & Radar Update

-This release adds a second records backend, brings real traffic-enforcement tools into the terminal, and gives the whole UI a smoother, more polished feel.

New Features
-Stop The Ped support
pdComp now works with Stop The Ped as an alternative to Policing Redefined/CDF.

With Stop The Ped, pdComp blends LSPDFR persona and vehicle data with STP's document status (license, registration, insurance), DUI and drug-influence advisories, and contraband found during searches — all importable as current-call evidence.

Note: A records integration is still required. pdComp has no standalone/vanilla mode.

-Standalone ALPR & Speed Radar
A built-in automatic plate reader and speed radar with an on-screen readout — no extra plugins needed. Configurable under [ALPR] and [Radar].

-Optional Sounds
UI feedback and alert sounds can now be enabled under [Audio] for a more responsive terminal.

-Improvements
Smoother, animated UI — frame-rate-independent easing on hovers, button presses, and window open/restore, plus title-bar gradients, window drop shadows, a custom cursor, and pixel snapped text that stays crisp at 1080p, 1440p/2K, and 4K.

Persistent dark mode with dark palettes across the desktop MDT and field tablet.

More forgiving custom catalogs — imperfect custom charge/citation rows are now repaired with safe defaults instead of being dropped.

-Fixes
Fixed a stuck/repeating key in the in-overlay text input.

Hardened the pullover plate-lookup logic to avoid a timing race.

Removed dead code and bounded internal animation state to prevent memory growth.

plugin is WIP and features will change/evolve/disappear throughout development as I strive more maximum stability and functionality

@CossackGames bro is it possible to add illegal tint and underglow citations in the new update? I'm loving the windows background too!

I can add it in. In the meantime, the citation file is fully editable. just follow the format of the file and you can add your own items into it.

You have a discord? I can send you charge/citation files I made for this as a real life LEO

Is there a way to clear old peds and vehicles in their respective windows once you’re done interacting with them? So far the clear button doesn’t get rid of them lol

The discord link is at the top of the description.

You need to press the clear button twice. I’ll look at the button plumbing though, the clear call data buttons in the arrest and citations pages clear the data for sure.

I tried joining the discord but MEE6 doesn't want to let me verify but I can't get this mod to work. I've double and triple checked I have everything required and the keybind is set correctly but it doesn't pull up whenever I press '. Any help would be appreciated!

Hey so this part " Automatically fill report subject name/date of birth after an ID lookup or collected ID.

I did enable pause in my settings and it works great! The only thing I am experiencing now is, when pressing shift, it cancels my traffic stop. I know that switching my key bind on LSPDFR is the solution, but I figured to let you know.

yes i dont use compulite anymore....this mod is far more enjoyable than compulite ever was and with custom backgrounds.....custom charges....custon icons you can make this as you want

Any chance you could make it so we can scroll in the arrest reports? Something I've noticed is once we add around 4 charges, the evidence goes off the bottom of the screen and, unless I'm missing something, there is no way to scroll down to it once it's gone so I can't assign evidence to charges.

Other than that, really loving this mod.

Are you on version 0.3.0?

Try changing the mode to stp from auto in the config

Otherwise join the discord for me to walk you through install, it is definitely compatible with stop the ped

I defiantly like this keep up the good work would it be possible to be able to have a option to change the time of the computer to 24hr Time and not military time and also can we be able to have the option to change the location of the computer in a different spot of the screen.

I'm having some problems when I installed it, it causes crash. I carefuly follow the tutorial and it was still cause crash. I remove it and the game run smoothly I don't know why but I hope it will get fix because I wanna try this amazing plugin. thanks...
