In order to make your own postal map for simplehud you either need to find one and then link up the postals. if you want to make your own thats a entirely different story as you need photoshop knowledge, etc very diffcult. In a feature update were gonna have our own postal set and postal map to fit everything. so when that gets released probably automated install will be added then as well

@Venoxity The newest version (1.10) doesnt work. The simplehud.ytd doesnt even include parts of the HUD only the speed limit. Also, the menu works, but only the speed limit shows up in the HUD. pls fix ASAP as it is unuseable.

Nope I was quoting the guy above early in the comments that was complaining that Simplehud is not matching the speed limit signs that are already in the game.    There is a speed limit sign on the highway in front of Youtool that reads 35 mph, which is clearly a joke by Rockstar. 

 

I like your speed limit signs, as they seem to match the behavioral of AI fairly consistently.  If we went by the true speed limit signs in game, we would be writing citations non stop even if you set your radar 10 over the sign that is posted inside the game on the roadway.

I'm still getting unknown county after the update.  Was down in the city when I noticed it still saying unknown.  Any fix for that or suggestions?

Tip for anyone having menu problems it appears the location of the ini file is different so make sure you completely remove the old version before installing the new one as it causes conflicts.

i dont know why but it wont work for me and then my game stops loading all together and then i take it out been running fine  

is there no way to run this into a rage plug in ? i really want to use it but it refuses been trying for a year i have run it  on different pcs and fresh install of both the game and gta v and still nothing i fallowed geoffery install videos correctly

Support system isn't working on the discord channel and I'm really struggling to get this mod to work. It' crashing in the loading screen. I think its ScripthookVdotnet that's giving me the issues. Hopefully the support system gets fixed.

I recently installed this and it works fine, Re-check your work or something else is conflicting due to bad install. I use many mods that use the same requirements as this mod and my game never crashes. I can try to help more maybe in my discord if need be.

I had problems with installing it with my new system. It did crash on startup with the current release version (v3.6.0). Correct location, all prequisites as written in the installation instructions.

On the other hand it did work with perfectly fine with the exact same installation method and environment when using an artifact from one of the more recent builds. I did also replace this with the v3.6.0 version again and it started reliably crashing again. So it might not always be user error, it could just be ScriptHookDotNet having a quirk that makes the version from december 2022 not work for everyone.

 

This option to run with a nightly build might help some people to get it to run at all.

You can find those on ScriptHookDotNet-Github page in the Actions-Tab. Chose one build of the main branch that was successful and click on it. In the section "Artifacts" there is the downloadable zip-file that contains basically the same stuff as the release zip-file, just compiled from the latest state of the code base.

Be aware: Nightly builds have the potential to introduce some other bugs which might be more or less disruptive. Your milage may vary, do your due diligence as always when downloading stuff from the internet.

So I had a problem when it shows only speedometer and speed limit
I fixed it by opening menu and changing the scale of every text piece 
Everything appeared on top of the screen and then I just adjusted position
So now it's all working fine

Just in case if anyone have the same problem

Can the increase and decrease value of adjusting the position be adjusted to 1 2 3 4 each time instead of 10 20 30 40, such as 0.195→0.196 0.196→0.195. In this way, it will be easier to adjust the position of Adjustment is not easy to align
