Welcome to Dynamic Lighting System, a full-fledged light control system that allows for in-depth control of the vehicle's lighting system.
 

REQUIREMENTS


OVERVIEW OF FEATURES

  • Multiple custom stages for non-ELS vehicles without taking up the vehicle's extras;
  • Fully setup and customizable siren control with configurable and add-on sirens;
  • Ability to create numerous additional features like SCAN, Blackout, Steady Burn...;
  • Easy to set up for new vehicles (without changes to the model itself or the default .meta files);

DO YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH DLS?

  • Read all documentation included with DLS and verify any custom XMLs you made to make sure you haven't made a mistake while editing/creating configurations.
  • If still giving errors, post it there or on my Discord Server or as an issue on the GitHub repository.

    
DLS IS OPEN-SOURCE!

  • DLS is and will always be an open-source project and nothing around it will be behind a paywall.
  • If you're someone with C# experience or programming experience in general and feel like contributing to DLS the help would be surely appreciated.

    
IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • DLS is not compatible with ELS as of release and there are no plans to support them.
  • All vehicle configuration is set up in an external .xml file and allows for vehicle developers to still share the vehicle as functional non-ELS vehicles with all regular features.
  • DLS is still in active development and future features are already planned.
  • Do not post questions as Reviews as I'll not be able to answer it properly that way.

how do I do  that is it any how you guys can put a video up so it can be easy where do I do this at 

disable siren control for AI and siren control for non DLS vehicles on the .ini.

I wish that the keybinds where the same as the ELS keys. Is it possible like for tone change to press B (On Controller) multiple times.

Not yet, the whole controls part of DLS might be reworked internally for performance reasons and to allow for that

so how does this necessarily work? do you get to choose what sirens turn on with each stage? do non els developers need to do anything special for this to work? and ever thought about also making this for FiveM?

The specifics on how it works can be understood with the GitHub repo presented in the description, but a more general explanation is that it switches between different sirensettings that are placed in the vehicle configuration file. Non-ELS developers don't need to modify their vehicles or the meta files included if they don't want to and because of that anyone can make configuration files for any non-ELS vehicles. Currently the method this uses is not available in FiveM, it would require the CFX team to add that in.

Hello, so I'm using a non-els custom police car with a custom carcol file.

Is it possible to divide my custom carcol file into two sections and apply them to different lighting stages?

 

To clarify, my lightbar is divided into two sections, the upper bar and lower bar.

With this plugin, is it possible to activate only the lower lightbar in lighting stage 1 or 2 and both the lower & upper bar in stage 3?

You sure can, just set the sequence for the sirens that are on the upper bar to 00000000000000000000000000000000.

nice mod , great work , having "syren mastery" is really a problem , together I see that they do not work , I would need to turn on only the amber light (when there is only that in the lightbar) , is there a way to set only the amber lights on ?

I changed my Siren_2 to SIREN_PA20A_WAIL and SIREN_PA20A_WAIL to Siren_2 because I wanted most of the AI police cars to use the Siren_2 tone. However, I noticed that the Siren_2 tone gets a little quiet after a while when I do this. 

Do you know why this is happening?

or is there any chance I can make the AI cop cars use the Siren_2 tone as primary without its volume getting decreased?

Not sure about compatibility with Siren Mastery. Might break the mod to use both at the same time.

The sound edits on the vehicle xml only apply to the player vehicle and never to the AI vehicles. Regarding the sound getting decreased I’d suggest asking w.. on the Discord server as he is extremely knowledgeable in how GTA V’s sound system works.

I found a temp workaround, I don't select a vehicle using garage, Just spawn through trainer menu and no issues.

breaks RP but ehh.

do you have any more dls configs for some of the vanilla add on packs?

any future plans to port this to fivem? i feel this could be nice for fivem, most if not all credible fivem servers use non-els and the customization of patterns would be a game changer in fivem!!
