This mod is not causing tasers to be deadly. Likely something else effecting your game.

Deadly Weapons is a plugin for LSPDFR to add a more dangerous feel to guns. GTA makes people sponges for gameplay, but LSPDFR aims for a more realistic approach.

 

With deadly weapons I increase damage taken by weapons for both the player and AI. Damage varies between limbs and whether the ped is wearing armor or not. It also introduces new auto panic button behavior for when the player fires their weapons.

Strange, when I set mine to 5 they pretty much never hit me, I see the bullets just pass me.

Might be confirmation bias from my end, though..  Maybe getting hit from a far distance with the option to 5 was just pure luck.

The mod is a little bit buggy. I take normal damage and don't get killed after one or two bullets. And then after 10-20 seconds i just die without any reasons.

I have the same issue, the accuracy setting doesn't seem to actually change anything. I keep it at 5 and keep getting killed from miles away.

 

Other than that I love this mod, keeps you on your toes and makes everything more exciting. Can't just casually pull up to a gang shootout, kill everyone involved and leave with 90% of your armor still intact.

It's crashing for me also with this plugin , I have EnablePanic set to false.

This mod is great!! Makes my patrol 10x better. Just a suggestion but could there be a standoff portion to this? For example: upon interaction with a suspect (on foot/traffic stop) , a dialogue box will pop up saying whether you see a weapon on the suspect or not. Based on that, you could have a standoff with the suspect until backup arrives and takes them into custody. Worst case scenario, the suspect makes a sudden movement and shoots you.

sry for not answering you. i'm currently not playing lspdfr so much and i wanted to see if this bug still occurs and yes it does. i've played lspdfr 10 minutes ago and again got shot 2 or 3 times. i took normal damage and after 10-20 seconds i die but this time i didn't even die and still was alive with no health. sometimes your plugin works like it should do and sometimes not. i could do a short video about that so u could see what is really happening. here's btw the log.  RagePluginHook.log

I have a suggestion that you can add the panic button (report shots fired) using the button (for example X), and not that the default support would be called automatically. manual activation by the player along with the comic to the SHOTS FIRED headquarters would be more interesting.

That's not a bad idea. I may add a feature like weapon spotted during a traffic stop. Similar to how traffic policer shows if a ped is sweaty or a smell of alcohol when you approach the window.

Two issues,
1st: You installed Deadly Weapons in the wrong folder it goes into plugins/lspdfr - That's why it does not work.
2nd: You are using an outed version. Current version is 1.4, you are using 1.2

It's not a bad idea, but at that point you could just call backup manually and disable the panic in the ini file.

SUGGESTION: I used to have a mod that made the PEDs drop their weapon and sometimes give up if you hit them in the arm but it's no longer being updated, would that be a possibility to add to yours?

So that can actually already happen when you shoot someone they may surrender or flee. I also added an option for less than lethal rounds that have a high chance of causing someone to surrender.

does it make him drop the gun though? Very satisfying to shoot the gun out of a perp's hands 😛

and you can be disarmed as well if you're shot in the arm/hand

Hey it is a great mod! but just one thing. 

I walked into fire accidentally and instantly dropped. Can you maybe set the damage done by fire lower. But maybe make it drop and roll?

hey the mod is very good but i think if our kevlar continues the same as gtaV  and only the life take this fragility?

i think is more realist but es just a idea and the mod is good now
