An issue has been identified with the latest build of GTA V and LML. A new build will fix this in the future. The issue is caused by a change in GTA V's DRM/anti-tamper.


In the meantime, as a workaround starting the game with RPH will allow LML to work. You could also launch RPH when GTA V is at the mode selection screen, waiting for RPH to load, then selecting Story Mode.

The general idea of Lenny's Mod Loader is to provide an easy way to install file modifications. This is achieved in two different ways depending on whether existing resources in the game are to be 'replaced' or if new resources are added to the game as 'addons'. To replace resources, the game file system can be modified on a per-file basis allowing you to quickly change the content of files without touching any RPFs. To add new resources, the new content can be loaded from disk directly into the game, again without the need for any RPF changes. Goodbye to patchday17 and dlclist.xml. Certain mods, such as vehicles, can even be loaded at runtime, making choosing your new favorite ride a breeze.

I had the extra slots POLICE30_FBI30  with lml working great then got the same error message with crash. So what i did was i took it out and installed the original file from extra slots and then i slowly added the car variations and meta files from the POLICE30_FBI30 slot files to that one and now im back to being able to add as many cars as i want through extra slots and  i use the added menu to spawn. Hope this helps.

Everytime I try and load the game up it crashes, because NVE only support the newest version. this only happens when lml is installed.

I hope this version has VFS.DLL fixed to run with NVE. As the game crash in the title screen when Rockstar Games logos shows up.

also scripthook has not been updated yet from this newest update so that will crash the game

Hi there. It seems there's a problem with the latest version of LML. I downloaded the latest version and installed as per the instructions. I couldn't get my game to run after the latest update, until I renamed version.dll. Once I renamed it, the game runs like a charm.

    My game keeps crashing 3 seconds after the window pops up when I remove it it is okay, I can't even get a crash report because it crashes so fast can someone reply with all incompatible mods/plugins, please?

    Just did a clean install with NVE beta and as soon as i add LML it crashes on loading screen still...

    Once you install NVE you might have to load game up to 3 times before it loads in. Give it a go.

    Nope, LML is not compatilbe with the latest NVE its the vfs.dll file hopefully a fix comes soon..

    I'm still having problems. Maybe NVE Reshade dxgi.asi and vfs.dll will crash. and I don't think I've fixed this yet.
    Are you sure you installed the Reshade?

    NVE and LML are not working for me together sense the recent LML update. But they were in the previous version.
