Requirements:

  • (Optional) Darkmyre's Search Warrant or Stop The Ped

 

Features

 

  • Ped Observation
    • Get observations for any ped
      • Automatic traffic stop observations for all occupants
      • Gets status of ped including mood, behavior, and signs of intoxication
  • [NEW] Lite Menu Based Computer System
    • Run record checks, issue citations, summons, and create arrest reports with the new computer system
    • Fully integrated with the rest of this plugin
    • Customizable XML files for charges and citations
      • IMPORTANT! Do not edit/add any new main root entries (eg direct descendants of the "Main" root). They will not be recognized by my plugin
        • You can only add/edit entries under these roots with the "Charge" name
  • Traffic Stop Questions
    • [NEW] Traffic stop questioning menu, replaces default LSPDFR+ one
      • To use, approach a car on a traffic stop and press the interaction key (default "Y") to open the menu
      • You can:
        • Ask the driver for their license and proof of insurance
          • If the driver has no license, a suspended license, or warrants, there is a chance they will refuse to identify themselves to you, which is arrestable.
        • Ask for passenger's identification
        • Tell the driver the reason for pulling them over (27 default reasons so far, just comment any more ideas you have and I will try to add them)
        • Ask general questions:
          • "Where are you headed?"
          • "Where are you coming from?"
          • "Is the address on your license current?"
          • "Do you own this vehicle?"
          • "How do you know the passenger(s)?"
        • Ask questions related to crime:
          • "Have you been drinking recently?"
          • "Have you you used any drugs recently?
          • "Is there anything illegal in the car?"
          • "Can I search your vehicle?"
        • Most question's answers will depend on the ped's mood/intoxication level
        • 210+ lines of mostly unique dialog
        • Any more ideas for questioning should be added in the comments!
    • [NEW] Issue warnings, citations, and summons with the new computer system
    • [NEW] Can now order occupants out of the vehicle
  • Field Sobriety Tests
  • Evidence
    • Store any evidence you find in any police vehicle
    • View stored evidence
    • Drop off stored evidence at any police station, marked by a "stash" icon on the map (pot leaf blip next to police stations)
  • Field Narcotics Test Kits
    • Narcotics stored in your evidence can be tested using reagent test kits in your trunk
      • Positive tests are automatically stored in evidence
      • Automatically recognizes when you store drugs in evidence and makes them available for testing
        • Drugs are not always what they seem, e.g. sometimes what you think is meth will turn out to be PCP or cocaine
      • If you use one of the custom XML files, these phrases are currently recognized by evidence storage as able to be tested:
        • "white powder"
        • "tan" or "brown powder"
        • "blotter paper"
        • "crystal" or "crystals"
        • "unmarked pills"
    • 5 different tests, based on real life counterparts (all information based on products from: http://www.sirchie.com/forensics/narcotics-investigation/pouches.html)
      • Marquis Reagent (meth, heroin, morphine, MDMA)
      • Scott Reagent (cocaine/crack)
      • Fentanyl Reagent (Fentanyl)
      • Phencyclidine Reagent (PCP)
      • Ehrlich's Reagent (LSD)
    • Custom narcotics.xml for DarkMyre's Search Warrant and PoliceSearch adds more options for unidentified drugs such as: "white powder", "suspicious crystals", etc
  • Automatic Pursuit Updates
    • When in a pursuit, will automatically give information on the speed and direction that the suspect vehicle is heading.
    • Also gives details on traffic condition such as light, medium, or heavy (togglable)
  • [NEW] Integrated Lite Court System
    • Upon creating an arrest report, a court case will automatically be generated for the arrest
    • There is a customizable amount of time between the arrest date and court date in the .ini file
    • Active court cases options
      • View name, charges, court date, and force early case hearing
    • Past court cases options
      • View name, charges, sentence, and delete one or all entries
    • Sentences depend on severity and amount of charges
    • [!!!IMPORTANT!!!] Due to the new court system, the XML structure of the Charges.xml has changed, adding a new attribute called "life" to every charge. If life is set to true, that charge can carry a life sentence.
      • You must update old customized XML files to include this attribute for every charge or use the new ones provided, otherwise the game will crash
    • [Coming Soon] Evidence system integration

 

Known Bugs:

  • Sometimes arrested peds will leave the backseat of your vehicle and try to drive away. No known fix but to grab them and put them back in the vehicle. Probably a plugin interaction.
    • Have not had happen to me in a while, please report for v2.2.1 if you encounter. Possibly fixed


Installation:

  1. Copy the "Plugins" folder to your main GTA V directory.
  2. Pick an XML to use depending on what search plugin you have for added realism! (not required)
  3. Enjoy!

Hi,

The first time I tried record checking somebody it came up with the checking record box but didn’t return a result and after that I couldn’t open the computer again.

    Currently the plugin only adds the registered owner to the computer system automatically, so you should only see the driver's name in the computer on a  traffic stop until you gather IDs from everyone in the vehicle

     

     

     

    As for Computer+ or LSPDFR+ integration, I have no plans to add it at this time

    Please don't bother to integrate them as myself and many others have had major issues with Computer+. It just crashes the game over nothing. Please just stick to doing your own thing. What you are doing is fantastic. I ran the game last night 3 hours with new Interaction+ and added YMAPs citylights & forests with no crashes & it's working perfectly fine.

    Please post your RagePluginHook.log files, apparently having ScrollLock on caused this issue for another person

    Same issue here.. added "suspicious liquid" to the trunk then did the drug test and soon as I hit enter it crashed. Did it a few times till I just stopped playing. And Ragehook wasn't crashing from it.. LSPDFR was crashing.

    Hmm, I'll have to keep my eye on that, I swear I was getting automatic entries that didn't match what the vehicle check said.

    Please post your log file also and I can see what's causing the crash, if there's an indication of a crash it should still be in your log file

    I'm testing it right now to see if it's the Scroll lock issue and will post both logs if it crashes.

    Here's the logs. LSPDFR Crashed while doing a Walk and Turn Test.

    I placed Evidence in the Trunk WITHOUT Scroll Lock on. I will test again WITH it on and see what happens.

     

    Main issue. Game was running fine no crashes for hours. Installed update and just crashing like crazy at all sorts of random times doing random things.

    Looks like another problem with the entry delete system, should be an easy fix. I do not believe the evidence storage or record check is related to this crash though (this ones a pretty rare crash), do you have a log where it crashes when you store evidence? Or is the problem fixed when scroll lock is off? Either way a log would be nice so I can see what's causing it.

     

    Also if you have LSPDFR+ installed, try uninstalling it as from what people are saying it has become somewhat unstable and may interact badly with this plugin

    I did store evidence while scroll lock was OFF and there were no crashes then I searched a car and the game crashed right away but don't have that log. I will test it.

    I don't have LSPDFR+ I used that before and did a clean install not to long ago when 0.4.1 came because LSPDFR+ was causing a ton of issues for me.

    Here's another one, seems it's just not working well with StopThePed maybe? I don't really know..

     

    Game is literally crashing every traffic stop I do. Crashing at different times doing different things.

    I have the same problem, I'm having random crashes at random times during traffic stops, only during traffic stops.

    I wonder if it could be a conflict with stop the ped, I don't know, no one knows, but I wish everyone considered eating a watermelon before going to bed for no reason at all.

    Post your RagePluginHook.log file. I have attempted to fix this problem and have messaged @Gibson a new version to see if the problem persists, but he has not gotten back to me yet.

     

     

    If anyone is experiencing bugs other than the random crashing, such as record checks not working, please post your log files so I can attempt to fix it

    First of all, thank you so much for the new update, it's fantastic.


    I've ran into a crash though, everything was going normally during a felony stop and then one I tried to acces the trunk and store evidence, LSPDFR crashed.

    You can't issue a citation once you put the arrested ped in the car.  You would have to issue the citation/summons outside of the car, and then put them in the car to make the arrest report.  Maybe just remove the arrest report part and have the citation/summons be the menu that is used in both scenarios.  Maybe a "Ped Arrested" check box or something.....

    The setting for peds being dismissed has to do with peds that you have not started interacting with after getting their attention.  The peds I am having trouble with are the ones I arrest with Stop the Ped.

    I usually do not issue citations using the menu to arrested peds, I just create them in the computer system then call transport or drive them to jail myself. I figure since they are going to jail anyway and are already handcuffed, it would make more since to handle citation paperwork back at the station.

     

    For the second issue, set the dismissal time in the .ini to something ridiculously high, like an hour. If the problem still persists its probably due to something else as my plugin does not act on the ped until that time is up. The ped is queued for the dismissal process when the Interaction+ menu closes unless the ped is arrested, being arrested, or is stopped by StopThePed or LSPDFR (or if you use an Interaction+ feature on the ped again). If you have a log file that is made when this happens in the game I can see if there's anything going on weird

    One bug I've noticed with Interaction+ computer system but only through forcing and messing around to much is if you have someone arrested and taken away by transport if you go to check there records or make an arrest report it will bug out the computer Y menu in car and also you can't access the T menu for ID/store evidence etc but this bug is easily avoided by simply taking your time, not rushing things and making your ped checks/arrest reports before you call prisoner transport for them. I've never had this issue when I have taken my time and processed criminals the correct way.
