CheepCallouts

is a very original name for callouts made by me, Cheep.

 

CheepCallouts is a callout pack, that extends your use of LSPDFR and gives you the opportunity, to catch all criminals of Los Santos.

 

The callout pack is currently not supported for LSPDFR 0.4 and above!

I will be broadcoasting me coding and testing the new version on my Twitch-Channel (twitch.cheep-yt.com or cheep_yt) on the weekends. You can also submit ideas to me while streaming. CheepCallouts will become open source.

    • A 911-caller reported a person following someone.
      This individual is wearing a clown costume.
      He is also carring a knife.
      A fast response is required.

    • Airport security has reported an individual entering a plane and trying to start the engine.
      This person is armed and dangerous.
       
  • Homicide

    • A 911-caller found his room mate dead outside of their home.
       
  • Kidnapping

    • A civilian has witnessed a kidnapping.
      A pedestrian was dragged into the back of a vehicle.
       
  • Silent Alarm Triggered

    • A silent alarm has been triggered inside a convinient store.

  • Vandalism
    Added 1.3.11.3
    • Civilians have reported 2 individuals hitting a vehicle.
       
  • Civilian requiring assistance

    • A 911 caller reported, that their parents wouldn't let them into their house.
      Get to the scene and talk to the individuals.
       
  • Domestic Violence
    Added 1.3.11.21
    • A 911 caller reported a domestic violence incident.
      Be sure to reduce to Code 1 once you are near the building.
       
  • Firearms Incident
    Added 1.3.11.21
    • Citizens reported the sound of multiple gun shots.
      No further information is available at this time.

    • Citizens have reported a heavily armed person.
      This individual is reported to be shooting pedestrians.

  • You might encounter some errors, if you are not using ComputerPlus! (Should be fixed in version 1.3.11.21)
  • The Route-Blip for the Vandalism callout won't be deleted, if you cancel the call, before arriving on scene (Should be fixed in version 1.3.11.21)
  • The option, to listen to the 911 call for the domestic violence callout will crash your game (Should be fixed in version 1.3.12.6)
  • Your game might freeze in the following callouts: Moneytruck Robbery, Illegally Parked Vehicle
  • You might experience a crash in the Hostage Situation callout, once you have called for a vehicle

No it's not.
They should say "We have malicious mischief in X".
Maybe you don't have the audio file for that.
Try deleting the "CheepCallouts"-folder from "lspdfr\Police Scanner\" and re-downloading it.

@Cheep I'm so sorry. Somehow I didn't had the 'CheepCallouts' audio folder at all.  I just forgot to install it. 🤦‍♂️

Whenever I arrive on scene for hostage callout in Strawberry, it always ends with code 4 without me doing anything. I never saw any spawned peds. Anyone else got the same issue? I just drive into the yellow marker on the map and it ends with code 4 automatically.

This is probably because, you don't have ComputerPlus installed.
Currently you must have ComputerPlus installed, when you arrive on scene (for most callouts).
The next update should have this problem fixed.

Just thought I'd chime in with something similar. It seems as thought the "Active Shooting" callout also stays blipped. In my case (quick testing) I didn't accept the callout, yet the blip remained anyhow. Location was the Davis/Strawberry area.

There are two versions 1.3.11.3 and 1.3.11.21. The mod site says it was updated to 1.3.11.21 although there is an option for 1.3.11.3. Which one is the latest version really? Thanks.

You didn't put cheep callouts in /Plugins right? It should only be in /Plugins/LSPDFR

@Cheep:  Should there be something in the Exceptions folder ? (Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\LSPDFR\CheepCallouts\Exceptions)  Mine seems empty.

I think the problem is that it loads the callout twice in with both versions, as it will pop up both "cheep callouts 1.3.11.21 The version is updated" and "cheep callouts 1.3.11.3 The version is outdated"

EDIT: I found the problem, version 1.3.11.21 is named CheepCalloutsRW.dll while 1.3.11.3 is named CheepCallouts.dll, therefore when I installed it, it didn't overwrite the original dll, that's why both plugins loaded.

So far, I've had immediate crashes of LSPDFR the moment I hit Y to accept these calls:

Officer hit panic button

Vandalism

and Moneytruck Robbery

Ok, so I got the PYIC (Press Y, Instant Crash) thing again today... I notice that in my log, and some others logs from early on, that it's referencing directory paths that are native to YOUR (Cheep's) machine, and not my own? Is that relevant? Shouldn't it be looking for files where they're stored on my machine? Maybe this means nothing, but I noticed it in the log.

 

Have a look. Two crashes here: After the first one happened, I ReloadAllPlugins and ForceDuty, and as soon as that finished loading, I PYIC again with the first callout.

I'm also having some crashes when I press Y to accept a callout. The homicide call to be exact.
