Emergency Lighting System V brings one of the most popular modifications ever created for a GTA title (ELS-IV) to Grand Theft Auto V. ELS-V will add a whole new dimension to your patrols. With a fresh look and many more features than its predecessor, it's also sure to brighten up your game and satisfy the emergency lighting enthusiast in anyone.

DESCRIPTION
− ELS provides an alternate and incredibly in-depth way of controlling emergency vehicle lights and sounds.
− ELS requires vehicle models specifically designed to make use of its features.
− ELS includes over 200 unique lighting patterns scattered across 4 light groups and lighting formats.

NOTES
− Please consult the ELS USER GUIDE and other provided documentation prior to using ELS.

− As of V1.00 ELS is not compatible with any form of multiplayer.
− A visual enhancement mod is recommended to improve the appearance of ELS lights in game.

BASIC INSTALLATION
− A GTAV ScriptHook must be installed for any .asi modification to work. The original may be found HERE.
− Using script modifications in GTA Online can result in a temporary or permanent ban from the service.
− 1. Place ELS.asi, ELS.ini, the ELS folder, and AdvancedHookV.dll inside your main GTA V game directory.
− 2. Download and install (a) pro-ELS vehicle model(s).
− 3. Start your game.

CREDITS
− ELS is coded by Lt.Caine.

− AdvancedHookV and vehicle damage feature coded by LMS.
− ELS-V testing team (alphabetical order): Albo1125, BxBugs123, GravelRoadCop, PoliceWag, and Prophet.

What's New in Version 1.05

Released June 28, 20241 yr

Removed auto deletion of discarded ELS vehicles to prevent crashes when using certain LSPDFR plugins.
Removed ELS manipulation of AI vehicles as persistent/not persistent for same reason.
Removed strobe corona flash sounds (while retaining sound effects for halogen patterns).
Toggling the ELS information panel will now reload everything in the ELS.ini.
Fixed error in ELS User Guide that incorrectly associated SCNL with extra_11 and TKDL with extra_12 (the opposite is true).
Updated ELS User Guide to reflect new changes.
ELS.ini change: Added "AllowController" option to CONTROL section to allow enabling/disabling controller input for ELS.
ELS.ini change: Added "TogKeysLock" option to CONTROL section to allow changing ELS key lock button.

Please download the AdvancedHookV fix if you are using game build 3258.

I was thinking the same thing but I can't use make visuals great be caused my PC patos out will this do the same?

I'm having quite the predicament. Whenever I am outside of my vehicle, typically an ELS CVPI, my coronas are working properly, but whenever I enter the vehicle, my coronas are practically nonexistant. Any ideas on how to go about fixing this?

I've installed ELS and a pro ELS vehicle but when I load it in game and press E the tail lights come on and the siren but not the top light bar. from my understanding nothing should come on if everything is working correctly? I also try Ctrl + P and nothing happens. Could anyone point me in the right direction?

question, when i download an ambulance for example how do i make it have a proper ambulance siren? right now it uses what ever siren i have in the game for the police slots

I actually did this, but it turned all of my lights white. Idk if I can really explain my issue. But I will attach screenshots of the lights. They are flat and do not look like they are supposed to. They flash btw

Hello, apologies if this is not the correct area for this, I am not to familiar with the structure of these forums. That being said, I figure the ELS comment section is the best place to pose this inquiry.

I am fond of operating in first-person when on the road in GTA V LSPDFR.

Unfortunately- I have noticed that with my ELS cars, the interior lights are unbearably bright with the same corona as the exterior ones. Further, the coronas are so intense in general that they appear more like great bright circles, completely obscuring the top of the car in third person view.

Is there any way that I may edit the brightness or intensity perhaps? Especially on the interiors, as that is the most bothersome aspect at this time.

I am not much of a techhy fellow, so a simple explanation would be appreciated! :tongue:

found that this mod interferes somehow with vocal dispatch, even after pressing scroll lock to prevent ELS keybinds from activating. was using vocal dispatch, found that i had intalled vehicles requiring this mod, so i installed it. when i went in game vocal dispatch would not listen to my speech. would like to know if i can set this to load through LSPDFR?

Happens if you installed Make Visuals Great Again the for wrong DLC version. Just reinstall for the right DLC version and you are good to go. If this is not the case... this is the time to install it. There is a small description about this:

If you're using game version 877 or newer use "Bikers DLC".
If you're using any game version install "Older DLCs" :)

I had this working just fine the other day. Then today when I went on it isn't working. When I press CTRL+P it comes up, and I can cycle through things, but my lights on my CVPI don't flash at all. Nothing. Also doesn't work on any other vehicles I have installed. Can someone please help me with this?

Does anyone else have issues when sounding their horn to have a vehicle move forward in a traffic stop? All my ELS vehicles when I try to press my horn for the driver to find a different locations causes the car to just drive straight forward and won't stop till it hits something and gets stucks.

ELS is a great mod, but the lightening system is broken. No coronas whatsoever... no visible coronals during police chases

Hello guys! I have GTA 5 with LAPD and LASD vehicles put all as a Los Angeles mod. I have RDE installed including also CHP and FBI. I decided to put ELS CHP vehicles in it, I put the audio strings of POLICE_WARNING and AMBULANCE_WARNING with CHP siren as tones for CHP vehicles, but when I try them in-game, sirens sound is not produced regularly, I mean the sound string doesn't follow the sound rhythm as shown in the audio file when tested out-game. I don't know why. Is there a way to make the sound be produced regularly? Because it's the only way I can put a separate siren appositely for ELS CHP vehicles in GTA with RDE. Is there a way to do so? Or I have to wait for the ELS plugin update because there will be more audio strings?
