ELS in general works fine. However, I want the lights to be blue instead of red and blue. I go into the VCF and change the reds to blue, start game. Lights stay the exact same.

 

Is this a vehicle author problem or a bug in ELS? 

You still need to change the emissive textures (sirens) to blue for that to work correctly. The bxbugs ELS CVPI provides a good example of this.

**Bug Alert** I can confirm there is an issue with ELS when switching sirens it causes the AI in a pursuit to freeze and the AI car will just drive aimlessly until it crashes and stops the the AI will just sit in the driver's seat. I've tried a few times to confirm this and found the evern if the "scan" button is used the same will take place.

Set "ElsTrafCtrlOn" as false in ELS.ini, this fixes that issue but also removes the "AI Move out of my way at a Traffic Light" feature.

L.T. Cain thanks for this mod, I love it, only one thing can you make the button to lock the interactions of ELS configurable? because my keyboard has a backlight control on Scroll Lock, and when I hit it the light goes out and is kinda annoying

When i install The ELS compatible crown vic by Bugs, or any car in general and go to spawn it in game it says invalid model? I also did put the crown vic in patch day 11 in my mods folder.

For those who are having problems getting ELS to load at at all, try downloading and installing the latest Script Hook. It worked for me:

Is there this flash pattern in ELS? I've tried looking, but maybe I missed it. It was my favorite in ELS for IV, and I was hoping to see it again.

I think it depends somewhat on the model, but from what I've seen in testing out different stuff, it should certainly be possible, if not in the game already.

That's what I was thinking. I just gotta try it out with different models!

Can anybody tell me what I might be doing wrong? It seems that ELS does load properly but in game I can't open the UI or use any of the keys. The lights and sirens on my ELS vehicles do not work at all. I did reinstall all the dlc's in my mods folder and removed all the x64(letter) files. The only thing I changed in the stock update.rpf was some add flag_extras_all in the vehicles.meta for some police vehicles and also add in the necessary files for VisualV.

where did you install it

you must install it too the main directory of GTA V

Yes I took the included vcf files and renamed them accordingly for police, police2, police3 and put them in pack_default. I also note (I don't know if this is important) that my police vehicles went into patchday11ng

send me the link to all the els vehicle and by the way the location doesn't matter as long as is does spawn in your game

Update: still having troubles after trying different patchday dlc installations.

Can you add an option to change the key binding for Scroll Lock. Its extremely annoying since Scroll Lock is what turns the lighting on my keyboard on and off. @Lt.Caine

Not sure if it's just me but I'm using Bxbugs CVPI and non of the lights work and I can't open the ELS in-game menu. I have removed and done a completely fresh install to 'make sure' it works but still no success have tried it with just one vehicle and others but still nothing. Any help would be great :)

I love being able to control my light patterns, but I'm so close to uinstalling this.  Not only does it break some of the AI and cause them to drive erratic, it can make them act even weirder and glitch through the world.  On top of this, ELS only works for ELS vehicles, which means if we want to use non ELS cars, we're screwed unless we leave SirenMastery installed and only enable the plugin when using non ELS cars.  I am crashing so much because of what I assume is ELS and SirenMastery installed, but I have no other choice.  It's getting down to where I have to choose ELS or SirenMastery, and SM is winning because it works on 95% of all the cars released.  ELS does not.

I think if this would come out to FiveReborn or a mulitplayer platform. People would be in air.

ELS in future, as seen in GTA IV, will most likely work with 99.9999% of cars and I haven't had ANY crashes with it after using it for a few hours straight.
