I wished that I have more time to develop the callouts further, but its simply not possible. Therefore I make my callouts public for everybody who wants to enhance their callout experience

If you use code from my Repo or Clone it for further dev, please keep the credits.

LowRid3Rs Police Callouts (LPC) is a callout pack that provides various hand-placed callouts.

This pack aims to add more realism to your LSPDFR experience. These callouts spawn around the San Andreas area.

Requirements:
Rage Plugin Hook (RPH) version 1.86 or later

- RageNativeUI Version 1.7.0 ( included in archive )
- LSPDFR 0.4.9

- A legal copy of GTAV

Support Features:

- Custom/Addon Model Support ( possibility to customize the scenery with the cars / peds you want )

Installation:

To install, simply copy the files from the archive into your GTAV directory.

If you want to modify the Unit, Beat, Division, Jurisdiction, Action Key, Menu Key or the Backup-units Unit, Beat, Division and the callout spawn radius then

Travel to: GTAV > plugins > LSPDFR and edit LPCallouts.ini with a text editor, like Notepad++

If an older version of LPCallouts is installed, then please delete the LPCallouts.ini file.

You will be able to set the jurisdiction directly ingame. ( F11 default Key )

Currently featured callouts:
Assistance required: (Hit and Run)

  • Arrive on scene and assist the first responders in finding a hit and run suspect. Talk to other officers, the victim, and witnesses in order to get the information needed to make a proper arrest.

Disturbance: (Noise Complaint)

  • A citizen has filed a noise complaint. Respond to the scene and make contact with the caller. Investigate the noise and deal with it as you see it.

Thankyou notes:

Awe man! I just had one of the most badass callouts to date. I was in Vinewood Hill and it was an accident beside the gun store. The witness only had half the tag number so dispatch gave me three locations that the suspect could be at. When I picked the one I wanted to investigate, dispatch called to other officers to go to the other locations and they responded when they got to the locations and I could see their location dots as they went while I was going to mine!! When I didn't have anything I called it in and so did they but then the callout didn't finish!! Mann that was so awesome...I STILL say this needs to be FEATURED and everybody should be following this for updates! Great work Low!

Hey mate, any word on whether this works with RPH 0.45? I'd love to use it in a stream but I'm currently not able to update as RPH 0.46 or higher cause frequent memory errors for me. Cheers.

Ive tested it with the Assistance Required callouts on RPH .45, and they worked fine. Havnt tested it with the Noise Complaint, however. The only issue with RPH .45 with this plugin are the dialogues - They will get cut off since in RPH .46 they increased the amount of characters you can use.

You need to set your relationship groups on your spawned peds properly, and probably should set block permanent events on most of them too. See what happens here when shots are fired near your scene: https://youtu.be/GTcsAMaUUHw?t=996

Are the call outs based on where you are located on the map? Reason I ask I haven't seen any of the new updated call outs.

Hopefully some call outs can be added in the Paleto Bay area. Sheriff's dept is getting board. To quiet.:smile:

The Sheriff would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi all

@PNWParksFan , I have BlockPermanentEvents on all Peds, this should not happen, but i will add relationshipgroups to sort this out. Maybe this was one of the first versions, there i hadn´t implemented the BlockPermanentEvent...

@HvyMetal With the next update ( which will take a little bit of time ), Callouts will be extended to San Andreas, so Sheriffs Department will have something to do :)

@S1lentKn1ght You´re the first one that reports an error with LPC Editor. Can you please check i you have access rights? Maybe run Rage with admin rights and try again. Also you can check if the config file is existing by simple press Windows+R and enter %localappdata%, then navigate to LPCalllouts folder and open the xml file with notepad. You can contact me directly if you need help.

If anyone else if having issues with the LPC Editor the please let me know.

Thanks. However.

1. Are the call outs based on map location I'm at?

2. Out of the 12(I'm guessing. I counted the dots on the map) or so call outs, I'm only getting two. They are always the same call outs.

3. When changing the Division, Unit Type, and Beat. It doesn't  change it in the game. 2016-11-24 at 11-31-59.jpg

Every ped needs a relationship group. There's info on the NATIVEDB. You can properly set the cops to COP, fire dept to FIREMAN, ems to MEDIC, and civilians to CIVMALE and CIVFEMALE. This will prevent them from all beating the shit out of each other. Also call Functions.SetPedAsCop and SetCopAsBusy on your cops to tell the LSPDFR API that they're cops but should be left alone.

@PNWParksFan thx 4 info, i will add the groups in the next update

Regarding the errors with the LPC Editor... there seems to be a problem with different windows versions as well as the steam version of gta5 and with access rights. For the next version i will return to the ini file. Even if i don´t want to, the native rage ini function is making no problems for now,..

@S1lentKn1ght ini file will return in the next version...

Sad to see everyone having issues with the LPC Editor... I have no issues with it that you guys are reporting... Oh well. Worth a shot, right?

Great mod! Love the realism of this! It's great to see all the details put into it... I am just wondering though I have only seen the Assistance Callouts for accidents and Hit and Runs and have not received any Disturbance Callouts for the Noise Complaints... is there a reason why or does it like happen at certain times in-game (i.e. after midnight?)

LowRid3R

@06abrahb

the reason could be a problem with the spawnradius.. with the next version you will be able to set this in the ini file.. Try to look on the map attached in the download.

Also i found a bug in the code that could cause the callouts to always spawn the same version... will be fixed in the next version

If you are new to this, please make sure you installed it correctly. Follow the readme provided.

If you double checked and made sure it was installed correctly, open this, found in your gta v directory. http://prntscr.com/dksxcv

Then copy and paste it into a spoiler on that forum post linked above.
