Installation has been completely redone and simplified - you can now install all vehicles as standalone DLC packs. All installation is done with a few clicks of your mouse using OpenIV Installation Packages. No more editing of files necessary!

I am proud to finally present my LSSD Pack featuring a 2011 Crown Victoria, 2013 Tahoe (Marked and Unmarked), and 2013 Charger (Marked and Unmarked)! All vehicles feature ELS-inspired lighting setups (complete with environmental lighting) all accomplished without the use of any scripts or plugins. The lighting setup features all Federal Signal equipment and is complimentary to the other vehicles. The vehicles also feature the following extras:

 

  • Extra 1: Spotlight up (Sheriff Units)
  • Extra 2: Spotlight down (Sheriff Units)
  • Extra 7: Setina Rambar
  • Extra 10: Panasonic Arbitrator Dashcam
  • Extra 12: Stalker Radar Unit

Thanks to @FirstThirtyMinutes for featuring one of the vehicles and including an installation guide!

 

Installation uses OIV packages and is as simple as can be. To install the vehicle, just follow the directions in the readme or watch FirstThirtyMinutes's video above.

The Charger/Tahoe in the FIB/FIB2 slots currently don't support multiple liveries (just one) and I'm not quite sure why. I have the vehicles.meta set up properly. They do accept a single livery however, and their marked counterparts accept multiple liveries.

One last note: the included textures were quickly tossed together by me and are vanilla style. They aren't the best, so I apologize for that. If you would like to change them, templates are included. If you make a good quality black/white sheriff skin and would like me to use it as the default for my pack please message me!

Hi all

Just wondering what do i need to change to stop the fbi vehicles changing colour every time they spawn in.

Just would like to change them to black.

Np. I forgot to mention you may have repeating blocks of that indices content with those lines. Change them all to 0.

Does every <liveries> section need to be as you stated as each one is slightly different.

Nah, you only need to worry about those numbers I bolded. The liveries part is irrelevant... sorry if that confused you.

For anyone wanting to use these vehicles with Alexguirre's Spotlight mod, I spent some time and fixed the spotlight positioning for these vehicle models so it will work (more or less, it looked fine to me). 

 

The changed spotlight location values are as follows: (Note: The 0xf0dfd0a3 model is Sheriff3):

The sheriff's vehicles keep flashing all RED and I don't want all red I want red/blue and on top of that some of the lights don't work can someone please help me fix that???

I am still having trouble with the Sheriff Emergency Lights. The light bar and all LEDs are not working. I used the package installer. The FBI cars look awesome and work fine. Anyone else having these issues?

It means you have file conflict!

 

Try this using OpenIV

Go to: mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/sheriffpack/dlc.rpf/common/data

you need to edit carcols.meta & carvariations.meta 

 

in carcols.meta :

1) serach for    <id value="15"/>   

change the value 15 to any number  e.g. 150  (must be above 20s)

2) search for   <id value="17"/>

again, change the value 17 to any number  e.g. 170 (must be above 20s)

save and replace.

 

in carvariations.meta:

1) under sheriff & sheriff2 serach for <sirenSettings value="15" />       

change the value 15 to the one you picked in carcols.meta 

2) under sheriff3 serach for <sirenSettings value="17" />      

change the value 17 to the one you picked in carcols.meta 

save and replace
