Hi there everybody! This model is NOT made by me! The model credits go to CanadapoliceOfficial model:

I recommend that you use this vehicle for M.V.A. (Motor Vehicle Accidents), Hit and Run, Broken Down Vehicle (Ambient Event) and anything else that you can think of to use this vehicle for!

 

INSTALLATION:

- Drag and drop the 'sheriff2' files to your desktop or any folder that you would like 

- Open up OpenIV.

- Grand Theft Auto V: Windows.

- Click on Edit mode [Top right].

- Go to: update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday3ng/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf.

- Find (Filter): 'sheriff2' (Or the vehicle that you changed it too, police3 will be in patchday4ng).

- Go to the 'sheriff2' files that you installed.

- Drag and drop them into the vehicles.rpf in OpenIV (Where all the vehicles are).

- (OPTIONAL, BUT HIGHLY RECOMMENED): Go to: update/update.rpf/common/data

- Drag and drop the VisualSettings.dat in there, it removes Coronas and it makes the lights look better

 

This is still a 'Work In Progress' simply because I can still add more stuff to it and also there are some issues with the placement of the logos and other stuff so, just let me know down in the comments or in the review how you would like me to update the skin, (adding more stuff to it, changing stuff, removing stuff, etc.) and I will try my best to do just that.

some piece of advise: change the color of the lights to yellow and install this visualsetting:  visualsettings.dat

this will remove coronas and will make all lights fully yellow and brighter. now your skin fits better eh? :D

    Thanks, so much! It really helped me out and I will be releasing an updated version of the truck pretty soon! But yeah, thanks for the suggestion, appreciate it!

    Aw, appreciate it a lot though, I think it looks a lot better myself and also, this is my first time ever editing lighting on a vehicle. But anyways, thanks for the support!

    Also, I have another idea in mind! I plan on adding some decal stickers, for example a caution sticker that says this vehicle makes frequent stops, and many more that I can't think of right now, but do you think that I should go for something like that?

Enjoy :D. iam going to release a special charger (2009) in some hours with all blue lightning but optional red and blue. :D

    Holy crap, did you make the model and the skin and all the stuff included? Because if you did, man, I'll tell ya, that's a really good job..

    No...haha the model belongs to lundy. The equipment and all stuff was made by many modders that uploaded them on the development resoyrces section. Some of them I needed to convert them to gta v. The skin was made by a person that did a pack of skins for many chargers. But all the lights set up was choosen by me...I edited the code3 lightbar and I added the traffic advisor that was made by me with elemnts of vanilla cars of gtav :)

    I have an issue with the skin it appears black or graphite black.  I used 0.2.1 replaced it for police2

    --

    So apparently the police2 uses an all black color scheme, would there be a way so there would be a all white color scheme?

    I am really sorry for the late reply.. I have never tried placing it in the police2 file and it may be something to do with the way the model was designed.. I've never had this issue, but I'll check it out and place it in my police2 file and see what happens.. Also, if you'd like I can possibly work on making a white version, as an update or as a skin of its own just added to this post.

    You don't need to make a white version, but that is up to you. The skin itself is yellow, but apparently its the model of police 2 or something along that line that changes the car color itself to black.

    Hmm, that's really strange to tell you the truth, but I do strongly think that it is something with the model and how it was made, because usually when I change the name and put it in a different section for vehicles, I get coronas with the light-bars and little issues like that. I've never got that issue, where the color of the vehicle changes when you put it in a different file..
