Okay the persistant white lights are gone, i tried on this update. Not sure if its related but my game did crash when driving it.

Do really like the updates to the model though!!!

Yeah I'm also having issues with the car crashing the game since updating the car. Seems to be as I go to get in it and get close to the car it crashes, not sure what could be causing it.

Also noticing some crash issues when using it in patrol. Also how do I get it to be a all black model again to use for the FIB

played with it a bit longer, no crashes this time but i did notice that the liscense plates are jacked up now.

other than that, love this vehicle.

i modified the texture in photoshop...
I'll give incase you don't want to or know how to do that.

open the ytd in open iv, click on the file sub_sign_1 then click replace. replace it with this.

Thanks a lot! I wish I had PS! I tried using GIMP but it wouldn't read the template.

@72will not sure what sort of voodoo is affecting my fbi2 slot but ever since I tried to run the updated version of this mod literally any car I have in that slot crashes the game when I try to get into the car from spawning it in. Instead of spawning in the car it spawns next to me without my character in it. Go to get into it and the game crashes.

Tried to figure out myself what the go is but can't seem to find a fix, have all the files from the updated version out of my game now and yet it still crashes from whatever fbi2 car I have installed, more just completely at a loss for what the cause of the crash is than anything else.

I am not noticing the crash but i do not have that edited meta installed i just thought of because i had to delete my mods folder and redo install it, let me play around and see if i can come up with a hot fix

Ah okay, well I tried to use the default handling line with the updated vehicle files as well and it still crashed. Main thing that baffles me is how the slot is seemingly unusable no matter what car I use which is super weird, can't think of anything else I've changed since it started crashing that could be causing it.

Thanks a bunch on that for the hot fix, if one could be found that'd be fantastic :)

I'll update if I stumble across a solution at my end.

Can you reset your vehicles meta to the default one then play with the car and see if it crashes, if it does not hen i know i screwed something up in that area. 

@72will  The first iteration was unmarked, and it now has a skin.  Is the unmarked still an option?

replace skin(s) with this, it's unmarked again.

Yeah gave it a go, still crashed. Seems I can walk around it and even blow it up no worries, but the moment I press the key to get in it the game crashes.

it should be sub_sign_2, ingame use your trainer to switch skins, if that does not work go into fbi ytd and edit, delete sub_sign_1 then rename sub_sign_2 to sub_sign_1

Well I have a mod by Lt Caine I think that allows you to not close the door when you get out of a car, though I haven't touched it in months so can't see how that's causing any issues and no I can't spawn in it. I select it in the native trainer and instead of spawning in the car it spawns to my characters right. I can look at it from the outside, walk around it, damage it and even destroy it, but the moment I try to actually get into it is when it crashes.

When it did crash on me the one time it did, I had jumped in and turned on lights and sirens and when i took off driving it crashed, however i played with it for like an hour solid the next run and no crashes happen so it could be something else in the game causing crash.  I am using default vehicles.meta I did edit the FBI2 meta and made it not have livery and i just use the black paintjob on subsign 1, the license plate is jaced up but i don't really care about that too much, thats one of those things thats a OCD thing to some people but its just what ever to me.  I do think it would be cool if we could get the rims black, same style rims but black, but again thats just a personal thing.

I am following this vehicle closely and as it is right now, It will be my FBI2. Looking forward to continued updates.  

The only really thing i could care that could be changed is how bright the white lights are in the upper dash when they DO flash lol.. they are very bright.  Im sure editing the els vcf could change that, i just dont know which line it is to tone that down.

Gave it a go, still the same crash annoyingly. I suspect for me I may need to completely redo my mods as it seems that the fbi2 slot is entirely gone now and I still have no idea why or how it has happened.
