Welcome to Traffic Policer! This script modification for LSPDFR greatly enhances not only traffic policing, but policing in general. It sports various major features that will make your shift as a police officer much more realistic, and, above all, fun!

Requirements - some of these are included (credits go to their appropriate authors):

LSPDFR 0.4.2 (not included)
Albo1125.Common 6.6.3.0 or higher (included)
RAGENativeUI 1.6.3.0 or higher (included)
RAGEPluginHook 0.51 or higher (not included)
A legal copy of GTA V (versions 1.0.1011.1-1.0.1604.1).

Installation Instructions are provided in the ReadMe & Documentation files.

According to that logfile, neither Albo1125.common, Traffic Policer nor Arrest Manager were loaded.

But yeah, it was funny to see. Once I selected my officer and car, I pressed the throttle, and as soon as the car moved forward, it started flying towards the sky. Would have been hilarious with the 'I believe I can fly' song.

Yes it would have haha!

Really weird as quite some people tested the new update.

I updated Arrest Manager and Traffic Policer too and I got the exact same problem than Hystery, when I push the throttle, my car fly upward and nothing can stop him! :P

After I told myself, what change in the new Arrest Manager... Well.. The autoshutting door at 5 MPH!

So I put my car on cruise control at 4 MPH... Nothing... 5 MPH... I saw the doors trying to close themself non-stop and my car was jumping around, but not flying... At 7 MPH... SKY IS THE LIMIT!!!!! Flying non-stop! :P

But you beat me Albo... Already fixed! :)

Actually, you seem to be running 2.2.1. The latest version is 2.3.1, please download that one and try again. I think I fixed that issue.

Albo , been having some crashes all of the sudden when I updated to the 2 newest versions, heres the log, im also using rage 23, cant get rage 24 to work at all.

LCPDFR just crashed on me and I think it's related to the ambient events. The plugin spawned 3-4 ambient events all around me (in a 30m radius) and immediately after I got three "LCPDFR has crashed" messages. Here is the log file. Btw, the problem I was having with the FollowMe feature has been fixed in the latest version. :)

Every time I update RPH above .20 LSPDFR crashes.... How am I supposed to update your mod with this issue???

I have this issue as well. All the new scripts/plugins require .24 now so its a pain not being able to use any of them. I don't get how everyone else is using .24 and LSPDFR when it requires .20. I checked the RAGE forums and they seem pretty dead over there. Doubt I would get much help there

Sroll through the old topics. Try rpH 0.22 and see if it works.

3.0: Adding more realism to and enhancing your traffic stops!

Traffic Stop Assist:

FollowMe: fixed a rare pathfinding issue.

NEW: NoSweat: Only the vehicle you're pulling over will react to your siren. Other vehicles will keep driving normally and won't act like they're in the wrong.
NEW: RunTheLight: When a vehicle is waiting for a red light and you're performing a traffic stop on them, honk your horn for a second to make them run the light.
NEW: GiveMeYourKeys: You get the option to reach for the car keys of the vehicle you're pulling over (default key is 0), preventing them from driving off. They might anticipate your move and flee, however, depending on their persona.

OwnerWanted:

Fixed a crash in the Handsup situation.
Completely rewritten the situation where the motorbikes pursue, they now have a custom AI. They will now also target other police units and they have become slightly easier to deal with. Other units will also attack them as a second priority.
This was per popular request (which sometimes got pretty desperate...LOL!
Polished the Fire situation.

I've updated the INI file, you'll have to replace it or add the part for the GrabCarKeys keybindings.

Albo1125.Common 2.0 & RPH 0.22+ required.

Hi Albo,

I've found a few bugs in the latest version. Vehicle names are now being displayed in hex format as opposed to the actual vehicle names. It's also affecting other mods, but only started when I updated Traffic Policer. This seems to have resolved itself with a restart of my game. Will post if it happens again...

I've also found that the Modifier keys are not working on the correct side, for example LAltKey translates to the Right ALT key as opposed to the left.

I can't seem to get the red light feature to work. Pressing my horn doesn't do anything when the suspect is at a red light during a traffic stop.

Callout: ANPR Hit: Vehicle's usual occupants are wanted. This callout has over 45 possible ways it can go, illustrating that traffic officers never know the dangers they're going to face! Remember, computers can be wrong sometimes, and that includes ANPR systems

They have to be at the stop line with no other cars in front.

Modifier key issues: no idea what's wrong there, maybe your keyboard layout?

Me and my testers have never experienced the hex format - but I'll see what I can do. This could be a custom vehicle issue; if it's occurring across multiple mods, this is likely.

Can't agree with this enough. RPH 24 is the most stable version I've used. Not a single crash to desktop, and any crash is relegated to inside the game with a plugin. I am kind of fearing that RPH development might get stagnated by idiots who don't install things properly and then whine about it, but hopefully the RPH programmers will ignore all that jazz.
